Sorry that I've not replied.
WumpaWolfy, let's get you in here too.
Okay, so Domri Rade would offer some nice utility. However, I feel like I wouldn't get much use out of it before it would be removed and, should I get the ultimate off, a decent amount of the effects could be duplicate depending on what I have out. It could be a good addition to some decks, but with my build, I don't feel it's the best use of the slots.
Lack of removal has been somewhat of a problem. Upon playtesting, I've found decendants path to not help much and end up tucking some cards that could be useful. In addition, Garruk Relentless Flip doesn't do much for me. So, I've replaced those with 3 Setessan Tactics to add some removal.
The Taurean Maulers aren't really necessary and the ability to play something and still transform my werewolves from Wolfir Avenger is very valuable. So I've replaced them and 1 Kruin Outlaw Flip for 3 avengers.
Thanks for all of your suggestions and help guys!

Thanks for the suggestion! Firespout is easier on the colors, but Slagstorm has the extra utility of being able to damage players. So I'll stick with the Slagstorms.

Sweet deck! I'm in the process of making a werewolf deck. Glaring Spotlight seems pretty cool and Moonmist is the clear all-star card to make the deck work. What are your thoughts on Ghor-Clan Rampager? In the testing with my deck (which is similar to yours), I'll attack with my untransformed guys then Moonmist as the combat trick of course, but also have Ghor-Clan Rampager for a second combat trick if needed. All the while not triggering the casting of 2 spells trigger on my turn. Also I'm trying to figure out a way to not be so soft to flyers without triggering my guys to transform.

Thanks! =)
I like that it's an ability and not a spell and, as a combat trick, it's not too bad (especially if you buffed a Terror of Kruin Pass Flip). However, in my deck, I don't think it's really necessary. If you're not using it for a combat trick and you have 4 werewolves out, Full Moon's Rise does effectively the same thing with the regenerate. If you find that you already have the trample most of the time, you could try looking at the other bloodrush creatures.
As far as the flyers go, Daybreak Ranger Flip is pretty good. One of the things that makes Setessan Tactics good is that you can add more targets on 1 spell.

Super sweet deck! The only thing I can really add is that I think you should cut the Afflicted Deserter Flip and maybe even the Naturalize for three copies of Ancient Grudge
I assume Afflicted Deserter Flip is for affnity which is a cool idea but it's four mana and aganist affinity are they really casting no spells a turn? So it's five turns to destory one artifact aganist affinity? By then you could be dead or very close so I think it would be better to play a cheap way to get rid of artifacts and Ancient Grudge is great at that and a cheap two for one aganist them. And aganist anything else it just seems better to have a cheaper anwser as you aleady ahve a bunch of huge dudes. Naturalize does that too but ancient grudge is just much better. If your running Natralize for something like boggles then Back to Nature is a better anwser to that. PLus it's a flavor win! Other then that I really like this deck.

Hey, thanks joecool1299!
Actually, the Afflicted Deserters were in there for artifacts in general, but the Ancient Grudges are better. I also dropped the Daybreak Ranger Flips to add 3 Back to Nature to replace the other half of Naturalize.
Thanks again!

The dropping of mage slayer is painful for me lol. I get that the 3cmc slot is kind of clogged already, but its like free doublestrike, and has made me coin the term "triple strike" when on Terror of Kruin Pass. It's won me enough games that it's definitely going to stay in my deck, its especially brutal when equipped to Taurean Mauler considering how easy it is to tick it up to 10+.

Mage Slayer has done me pretty well too, but only sometimes. It's really good, but my biggest problem with it is that it effectively costs 6 mana to use. It's a shame too, I really like the card. =)

I must say nice deck, it seems to function very efficiently and hastens defeat for our opponents. However, since I don't have much of a wallet when it comes to creating decks, what would you suggest I replace Atarka's Command with? What about Huntmaster of the Fells Flip? Other than that, +1 from me.

Hey, Thanks!
I want to tweak the deck again sometime; I got some ideas such as removing the Full Moon's Rises as they don't actually help much.
As far as replacing Atarka's Command, it depends on what you want from the replacement. You could try Swell of Growth, Slagstorm, or Tower Defense. For replacing Huntmaster of the Fells Flip, maybe Taurean Mauler.

No problem man.
Maybe for the replacement of Full Moon's Rises you could try something like Gruul War Chant, which would help you win the game should you get stuck in the late game.
Also, in the case of suggestions for budget-ish builds, I think that maybe I'll use Tower Defense, but maybe 2 Mondronen Shaman Flip and 2 Daybreak Ranger Flip in place of Huntmaster of the Fells Flip.
Thanks again for the budget suggestions, and good luck when playing this deck.

Love this deck, I have been wanting to build a Werewolf deck for a while but did not see anything I liked. This deck has motivated me to finally make one, +1!

Thanks for the suggestion! I personally don't particularly care for shocklands and like to use other lands better.
November 22, 2015 3:21 p.m.
My problem with Cavern of Souls is the price tag, lol. I'll probably get some eventually though (SOI maybe?)
Thanks!
I was also thinking about adding Mutavault, any thoughts on that?

I would suggest AEther Vial. Its never going to be a bad card to invest in if you like to build tribal decks. Plus you get to play a dude with the vial and flip him.
December 6, 2015 1:22 p.m.
Hmm. I like it. Plus I think it'd be good outside of tribal too. Thanks!
Now how to fit it in...?

Hard to say, how does the land feel? It seems to me that it is one or two to heavy. Modern Slivers is Adam Bowman's Modern Sliver deck that imo uses vial really well. It has a mana curve that that tops out at 4(like yours) and runs 20 lands with 4 AEther Vials. But I wouldn't run 20 lands in your deck because you want that third land for the bulk of your curve(there have been more printings of slivers then werewolves so they have a nicer curve naturally). Normally in vial decks you want to draw creatures over lands for that nice freebie. Another thought after looking at his list, what about Collected Company over Huntmaster of the Fells Flip. I love Huntmaster of the Fells Flip but i don't know maybe CoCo might make to deck more aggro.

Meh forget the CoCo idea. You need more creatures for Collected Company to be worth running.
December 6, 2015 6:18 p.m.
I've been thinking about dropping two lands, so I'll just replace them with AEther Vials.
Thank you again!

This deck is awesome. I have been thinking about building a werewolf deck of my own. My only question, why not use Destructive Revelry instead of Ancient Grudge in your sideboard?
Magnalian says... #1
Oh man, I have wanted to build a werewolf deck since I knew werewolf cards existed. This build looks pretty fun, I don't know why I never thought of Taurean Mauler, it seems so obvious in hindsight. Glaring Spotlight as a finisher amuses me to no end, I love those plays that make your opponent re-read a card twice because nobody else uses it. I do have two questions concerning this build. no.1: Isn't the lack of removal a big problem? I would think it is better to deal with your opponent's boardstate rather than avoid it. no.2: What's your opinion on Lambholt Elder Flip? A 4/5 with pseudo-Curiosity for 3 cmc seems pretty good, especially since you have no other card draw.
