I have something very similar to this that I absolutely love using, I'd suggest adding Wolfbitten Captive Flip into the main board over Reckless Waif Flip for sure. Its a little weaker but the activated ability turning it into a 6\6 is very useful, especially if you combine it with other werewolf abilities. Other than that +1 from this guy

Also they really need to come out with a werewolf that has hexproof and is actually useful in the upcoming return to inistrad. So far the only weakness my deck has is removal

I've thought about adding Wolfbitten Captive Flip, but decided against it because of it tilting the color wheel more in favor of green. However, the abilities are quite nice, so I think I will swap them out.
I'm really hoping for things to improve my deck with in SOI, but I'm not sure if werewolves will be coming back due to the wolfir thing (I'm not really clear on that whole part of lore though).
Thank you!

Super cool deck. I really wanna go home and play it on MTGO :0) +1 from me.
2 Things... why do u only play 2 AEther Vial? If u ask me u choose to see it as a big part of ur aggro strategi or dont use it at all. playing 2 seems wierd.
i dont really like having Glaring Spotlight in main. 3 mana is a lot to keep up to save ur dudes. i would rather let the creature die and play another or shoot a bolt or something. the Card really doesnt do that much in that many games. if u wanna play it put it in the sb for Slippery Bogle decks. But there are better Cards dealing with bogle.
thats was just my thoughts anyway. but i really like the deck :0)

Hey Again
I played the deck online all night and really loved it. it is really fun and "okay" competitive, and I love the tribal feel of playing alot of werewolfs. It gets you the chance to say in chat stuff like: "Watch out, the moon is near - and with it your end". and then playing Moonmist and killing him :0) love it!
I did a few tweeks:removed the Glaring Spotlights for a full set of AEther Vial. You NEED AEther Vial to turn ur guys. If your wasting a turn not playing a spell u need to get a dude on the ground with flash. I know we have Wolfir Avenger, but it really works well with AEther Vial.
I only play 2 Domri Rade, but thats more of a personal thing i guess. I dont want to many noncreature spells in deck when i play AEther Vial.
I changed the Whole SB to help me in what I see the meta as... but I thank you one more time for the idea for the deck. its very fun :0)
Howl on my friend :0)

Sorry I haven't replied, I haven't been on T/O for a little while.
Thanks! I'm glad you had fun playing it. I mainly have two AEther Vials because of the cost and space in the deck. But you're right, they're really good with the werewolves.
As far as the Glaring Spotlights they're for the hexproof, unblockable hit for a finisher more than removing hexproof. I want to leave at least one for a different way to win.
And, yeah, the sideboard is pretty much a general placeholder right now.
Thank you very much for all of the feedback!

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, I don't think Master of the Wild Hunt has enough synergy with werewolves.
February 13, 2016 8:32 p.m.
That's..., a lot of one sided damage. I used to run Full Moon's Rise, but they were just not as useful as other cards in their place in the long run. I don't think I have enough room for a two card combo board wipe but thank you for suggesting it!

+1! How do you think this will do when Shadows hits? Apparently there will be a new Werewolf Planeswalker. Have you thought of a more midrange strategy without Aether Vial? I like Vial but I hate drawing into it past turn 3.
March 2, 2016 4:20 p.m.
Thank you! It's too early to tell, I think, but I'm hoping werewolves will get some loving (that Duskwatch Recruiter looks like it might get a spot in my deck). I didn't know about the planeswalker.
The deck used to be more midrange and didn't use AEther Vials, but they're really nice with the werewolves as you can play creatures without casting a spell.

I'm toying with the deck as I used to have a Werewolf deck for kicks and giggles. The big thing is your mana base. There is no Fire-Lit Thicket, no Stomping Ground or Cinder Glade.
I sort of like the flash that Wolfir Avenger brings, however I sense that he would be the replaceable card in this deck as you don't need the flash with inevitability.
I feel you could almost get rid of the Lightning Bolts for other things like putting in that singleton Gruul Charm. When I played my Werewolf deck I was almost NEVER excited to see myself draw into it. I feel like the Pseudo-Unblockable as well as the aerial defense would go a lot further.
I do love the numbers on all of your creatures. It seems like you put a lot of thought on which creatures you need and how much of them can fit and still work in the deck. I think 3-of Huntmaster of the Fells Flip is perfect and Kruin Outlaw Flip SHINES in this setup.
I HAD a playset of AEther Vials, but seeing as how they've spiked I'm not going to reaquire them and will try and figure out another way to abuse the deck. I did try a singleton of Isochron Scepter, but back then I didn't have access to Atarka's Command to abuse. All I had was Moonmist, Lightning Bolt and the singleton Gruul Charm. I may try it out.
ANYWAY, I'll be following this beauty for when the rest of the set is spoiled. +1'd. And if you have a bit of time go over and check my bae out, Project Hydra.

I'm a big fan of Sword of Body and Mind in werewlolves, especially on Terror of Kruin Pass. Last I checked it wasn't to pricey either. :)
March 5, 2016 3:43 p.m.
Thank you very much for the feedback! I've had a decent amount of people say I should use Stomping Ground, but, personally, if I don't need the basic types, I'd rather use something like Karplusan Forest. Fire-Lit Thicket, however, would be real good.
I actually considered replacing Wolfir Avenger with Savage Summoning, but without Immerwolf, can be kinda counter-productive. What do you think?
Thanks! I feel like Sword of Body and Mind would be good, but just kinda too slow and not necessary.

Oh, just so you know, they changed the rules on flip cards. Now your flipped Wolves won't die to an Engineered Explosives on 0 or a Ratchet Bomb! Pretty cool! I think you have a great deck moving forward, based on those rules changes.
March 8, 2016 12:35 a.m.
Zeke. Moving forward I can honestly see having 2 more Walker spots open up in this deck. One for either 1-2 copies of the actual Werewolf Walker we have been teased with and a 3rd for 1 copy of a a Garruk of some kind. Since I'm pretty sure by T 6-7 it's very plausible you would be topdecking have you considered a copy of Garruk, Caller of Beasts?
The +1 potentially fills your hand for late game targets for your AEther Vials. That's even a potential play when Garruk first comes out.
The -3 allows you to AEther Vial one out of your hand for no mana against you. The only drawback is it has to be green. No skin off your back. You can even do this the turn he comes out and use a Huntmaster.
-7 Is just ridiculous in this deck. That's all I'm saying.
I'm a big advocate for using multiple slots of walkers in decks. If they aren't attacking your life that's one more turn they can die.
March 8, 2016 1:07 a.m.
Hmm, I like it. I agree, there's always the "attack the planeswalker or the player" dilemma. I think I'm going to wait to see what SOI brings before I play with that.
Thanks!
March 8, 2016 1:12 a.m.
Have you tried to slot in Blood Moon in place of the AEther Vials? I've been testing the Moon and it can completely shut things down whereas AEther just allows hand dumping. I'm trying it out ofc. :b...
March 10, 2016 12:17 p.m.
If you add a planeswalker, you should add Garruk Relentless Flip not Caller of Beasts. 6 drop walkers are too slow for modern unless you are playing control.
March 10, 2016 12:44 p.m. Edited.
Dat Arlinn Kord tho! She's going to be a great GREAT piece to the deck.
March 15, 2016 7:57 p.m.
I told you there would be a great new planeswalker for your deck!
March 15, 2016 8:17 p.m.
Blood Moon would be something that I think I might put about two of in the sideboard.
That Arlinn Kord... =D Now I'm going to put about three in lol.

timjim1327,
Thanks! I hope my deck can help you build yours.
As far as the sideboard, I want to start going to FNM sometime, and I want to use this deck (at least some), but the version of the deck that I have built in real life is many versions behind this one, so I don't really know what my local meta is so my sideboard may be totally remade. However, I like Destructive Revelry better than Ancient Grudge, thanks!
