Also, I think that neglected heirloom could be of great use in this deck, turning into a +3/+3 and first strike enabling sword that flips with anyone of your werewolves.

The logger is a little too plain, I'll probably use the Recruiter. I don't think I'll use Breakneck because of the double red and it's just a baby Instigator Gang Flip. And as far as heirloom goes, I'm not really sure if it's worth giving slots to.
Thanks for the suggestions though, always appreciated!

Wow, okay so... Silverfur Partisan should and will replace Wolfir Avenger and will give Werewolves the sticking power they will need. I was beginning to wonder when they would get support.
My only problem is: How often will we be targeted by Instants and Sorceries. And is there a a card that we can use that can either, really cheaply target or freely target our creatures to abuse this? Setessan Tactics would be interesting and the only one I could think of off the top of my head.

Silverfur could have just made Werewolves get the kick it needs to be greatly more competitive. It makes it so that the deck can actively generate more creatures even when its own get killed. It would be a definite staple in any werewolf deck, but I can't wait to see what wizards has in store for us. Maybe the deck could have more of a spellcasting side, or at least one with more pumpspells. Not reliant on them, but just enough to make the worst of situations into the greatest of advantages. Maybe cards like Giant Growth and Titanic Growth, I know it is kinda the bane of werewolves, but I'm just rambling on about possible archetypes. Until the next spoilers come out (AKA Tomorrow) I'll just back into the shadows and hunt for Atarka. Don't Worry
I'll be Back
P.S. Sorry

Just imagine having 2 of those pups out at the same time. Not only would you be TRADING, you'd be GAINING.

The_Herald_of_Atarka and Mr.Mirage,
So, right now I'm thinking:
Arlinn Kord in place of Huntmaster of the Fells Flip,
Silverfur Partisan in place of Wolfir Avenger,
and maybe some Duskwatch Recruiters and Setessan Tactics.
I used to use Setessan Tactics, but pulled them in favor of Lightning Bolt; with Silverfur Partisan, I think I might switch them back.
P.S. I really appreciate everyone's thoughts and notices, thanks!

First off going forward you need to look about replacing the AEther Vials and Lightning Bolts for more creatures. Possibly SB the Glaring Spotlight to SB or cut it completely.Leave the land how it is.
- Creature 21
- 2x Huntmaster of the Fells Flip
- 4x Immerwolf
- 3x Kruin Outlaw Flip
- 4x Mayor of Avabruck Flip
- 3x Wolfbitten Captive Flip
- 3x Silverfur Partisan (I say 3x, because I don't know how WELL he will be ALL the time.)
- 2x Village Messenger
- Planeswalker 5
- 3x Arlinn Kord
- 2x Domri Rade
- Instant 8
- 3x Atarka's Command
- 1x Gruul Charm
- 4x Moonmist (Going forward we may have to cut it to 2-3x.)
This leaves us at 56 leaving 4 cards to fill. I personally REALLY like Blood Moon as a 3x. But I'm leaving it as this to see IF we get another modern playable Werewolf.
ALSO: I REALLY like Village Messenger as a Turn 1 as well as a late game threat. Having Haste allows for top deck damage. Having Meance is just another tack on his belt. LOVE it. ALSO ALSO: I didn't slot in Setessan Tactics as I'm not quite sure. I do like it... A LOT. Anyway, this is where I'm sitting at. :D

Awesome deck! +1
But I had one small, stupid question...
How does Wolfir Avenger flip your werewolves? Am I just missing something or what?
March 18, 2016 5:22 p.m.
Wolfir Avenger lets you not cast spells on your turn so they flip. Then you flash him in.
March 18, 2016 5:24 p.m.
I don't know, AEther Vial just works so well with werewolves. I might throw Glaring Spotlight into the SB though. Won't Blood Moon hurt my mana base, seeing as the deck leans more towards green?
When I saw Village Messenger, I really liked it too!
I think some targeted removal is going to be kinda necessary. Seeing as Arlinn Kord has a Lightning Bolt on her flip side, I may put in Setessan Tactics.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Right. Thanks!

I know you like AEther Vial, but does it do anything for you other than be able to dump your hand on an opponent's turn? You can't dive in to your deck with it. Once your hand is empty you're praying that you get a creature that you can cheat in with AEther Vial. I like it too when I have it on the opening hand, but late game it's not doing anything for us. Making room for more creatures actually helps out because Domri Rade can draw in to them.
Also, I would actually consider dropping a Moonmist for an EXTRA Setessan Tactics and possibly upping the Silverfur Partisan to 4x and possibly cutting an Immerwolf. You will still have more than enough lords in the deck to keep up with things. Idk. I'm trying to make room for a Mythic Rare Werewolf I foresee... :b.
March 18, 2016 11:24 p.m. Edited.
With all the new werewolves, I think aether vial is definitely the first card out.
March 18, 2016 11:29 p.m.
Yeh. I'd rather draw into another Werewolf than an AEther Vial.
On a SIDE note... On FB there is an advertisement with some new art for another Werewolf advertising FNM... And we haven't gotten to see a Mythic Rare in green so.... ;)

Have you thought about the new tango land Cinder Glade?
Could be pretty sweet with the fetches plus you have a strong possibility of having a basic land in play so they always come in untapped.
March 21, 2016 4:55 a.m.
I don't believe it's worth it. 3 CMC slot is going to be chock full of things we need. It's good, but not that good.
March 23, 2016 10:51 a.m.
all the talk about AEther Vial not being good enough... how would you turn the werewolf Cards without it? just not play Cards your turn? that is not good in a aggro deck. I say play a full set to let you have a big chance of keeping one on the start hand. ofcourse its not that fun drawing later... but the awkwardness of not getting value of your creatures cause they are not turning is horrible.
AEther Vial is a must ;0)
March 30, 2016 8:06 a.m.
waaben The wolves would only turn if a player did not cast a spell last turn. So assuming your opponent, didn't cast anything, yes they would flip, but that's an extremely situational card, and it just doesn't fit in my opinion. Vial works well in G/W and Merfolk, but I don't think it works as well in a wolves deck.
March 30, 2016 12:25 p.m.
DrFunk27 Your opponent will almost always play a Card in his turn. if not by main plan, then to not make you flip your creatures - forsing you to skip ur own turn to flip them... and that is why you need vial. to play the wolfs in his turn and flipping them in your own.
I really dont get why you disaggree. have you Guys played the deck? its really tough/slow without vial to flip the wolfs.
Well i guess thats (only) my oppinion :0) ill keep it to my self from now on.
Have a good one

Well, to be fair, that is why they include Moonmist. A fog+transformation which can easily be a one-sided board wipe given the right situation.
March 31, 2016 7:37 a.m.
Seeing as I only have 8 basics in the deck, the chance that I'll have two out for Cinder Glade is just too low. Thanks for the suggestion though!
I like Howlpack Resurgence, but I'm not sure if it's worth the slots. If I feel that I have trouble flipping my wolves, I might take another look at it.
waaben, The_Herald_of_Atarka, Mr.Mirage,
Like waaben said, I think AEther Vial is pretty necessary. You can't rely on Moonmist alone; AEther Vial adds a lot of consistency for keeping your werewolves transformed, it's like it was made for werewolves, lol.

I like the additions you've made from the new set. Geier Reach Bandit + Immerwolf synergy is awesome and of course Arlinn is a nice replacement for huntmaster(since huntmaster wants to flip back and forth and the others don't). But how does Domri feel? Does he miss a lot with his +1? If he does, Duskwatch Recruiter Flip might be a good replacement. Plus Duskwatch Recruiter Flip's ability goes on curve.
April 4, 2016 3:13 p.m.
It is with a heavy heart that I must admit that as cool as Sage of Ancient Lore Flip is, he's just not good enough. But what about Hermit of the Natterknolls Flip? And I have to agree with the chorus of Duskwatch Recruiter Flip supporters, one of the few werewolf cards that lets you spend mana without casting spells, which is something this deck desperately needs.
April 4, 2016 3:52 p.m.
Have you given any thought to possibly playing collected company?
The_Herald_of_Atarka says... #1
Have you considered putting cards in here such as Hinterland Logger and Breakneck Rider? Hinterland turns into a 4/2 as soon as turn three, and Breakneck transforms into a 4/3 that boosts everything else by +1/+0
