Still a work in progress.

Not ment to be modern competitive.

Just fun.

The Focus:

  • Making mana.
  • Fetching auras.
  • Pumping up your entire board with Perminant +1+1's.
  • Maintaining Card Advantage.

Paradise Druid has to be one of my Favorite new-found ramp cards.

Regardless of the more expensive

cost.

You may say: "why not Elvish Mystic ??"

"Birds of Paradise ??"

"Or even Avacyn's Pilgrim ??"

For cases of manafixing;..

When you do have the correct ammount of mana, but not the right colors.

When missing White or Blue,

Paradise Druid to make the correct color.

To then make sure it's safely with its hexproof again.

You can use a Forest to untap and put a +1+1 counter on it,
Via : Burst of Strength

You can aswell ;

Declare Paradise Druid as an attacker and wait for blocks to be declared (or passed).

following this:

Play Burst of Strength as an inturrupt to your own combat damage step. The spell will resolve before your attack goes through.

Your Paradise Druid will be untapped and buffed. Giving you the 1 (or 2) extra point(s) of damage on top, and 1 extra any color mana for your second main phase.

Best scenario; killing off a creature your opponent was hoping to trade with or save outright.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

With Season of Growth on your field:

To Paradise Druid for and to play Burst of Strength can give you a "free" +1+1 on your druid and allow you to, maybe, immediately draw an aura.

You could also end up drawing into another Burst of Strength.

Repeat the process. *(Outside of combat, unless you have another source of )

Burst of Strength + Paradise Druid + Season of Growth

Burst of Strength + Paradise Druid

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

You can even use your mana creature to bash through your opponents defences.

It becomes an almost unstoppable force, once you throw a couple auras and +1+1 counters on Paradise Druid.

With the natural hexproof, and hopefully a Sentinel's Eyes or Mammoth Umbra attached.

A vigilant, +1+1 loaded Paradise Druid is much better to have on your side of the field.

You are quickly going to put your opponent in a tough situation.

Cornering them into loosing creatures to blocking, trying to save their life total. (Usually followed by panic )

Realizing removal is not going to work.

:P

With this low mana cost enchantment Deck, Especially with the Card advantage of Season of Growth, you can play multiple spells per turn, early on.

Setting you up to overwhelm your opponent With big creatures that can be completely protected or immune of your opponents removal and creatures.

We are not just taking advantage of Phalanx Leader's Heroic with our auras.

Targeting him with auras can bring multiple effects and triggered abilities from other permanants you control.

But I think it is more efficient to use your auras on your other creatures and target Phalanx Leader with mostly instants and sorceries.

There are Lots of +1+1 counters coming from Enchantment auras And Creature targeting instants and sorcceries.

Finding a way to trigger Phalanx Leader is a breeze.

( Phalanx Leader+ ANY spell that targets )

Right allong side Favored of Iroas and Setessan Champion, Season of Growth has so much value in this Deck.

Your Season of Growth Not only takes advantage of the other enchaments/auras.

It can go off from ANY spell you cast that targets a creature you control.

Setessan Champion can get very large very fast. -. You can target him with your Auras, or you can just watch his Constellation ability shine from targeting your other creatures.

I've updated the deck to reflect my inventory at this moment.

The deck I'm going to be playing/testing is :
