Cool decks both of you! Lions heart, do you know any really good budget decks for ~20 dollars? I am also thinking about getting this deck :)

I like the idea, +1 from me :) Maybe try Haakon, Stromgald Scourge against sweepers?

Cool deck! However, you're creatures will still be damaged by Pestilence. Protection from black prevents targeting by a black source, and because Pestilence doesn't "target" they aren't protected.
On another note, some fun cards that interact with Darkest Hour are Absolute Grace and Light of Day. Light of Day won;t help you, because it shuts down your creatures as well, but I thought I'd include it anyways. Maybe you could run it in the sideboard with an alternate win condition.
Anyways, nice deck! +1

Thanks for the suggestions SoundTramp.Actually the protection from black does stop the pestilence. I checked the MTG rulings and a MTG referee and it does works. Thanks for looking out for it though and for the upvote. :)

Brave the Sands is straight up better than Serra's Blessing. Other than that I love this deck, but knights will always be mono-white to me.

This is a really cool deck! I like the idea of turning all creatures black, and you execute it really well! The Obelisk of Urd works super well in the deck too, and I am surprised a card like Knight Exemplar exists. I love how cheap the deck is too, and I don't want to make it too expensive, but it is a little hard to get the darkest hour in play. Possibly add enchantment search like Enlightened Tutor. Great Deck as always! ;)
