I've been experimenting with various cuts and additions over the past few months, cutting some of my pet cards that just haven't been performing as well as I hoped, and throwing in some powerful tools I've picked up. Here's the current state of the deck.
Altar of Dementia -> Champion of Wits: I don't like including cards just to fill up the graveyard, and while a free sacrifice outlet can be useful, I think this slot can be better served with something that helps sculpt my hand as well as filling the graveyard. Champion of Wits can help get reanimation targets into the graveyard, sculpt my hand, and even bring itself back as a 4/4 if there's nothing else to do.
Bramble Sovereign -> Whip of Erebos: I love Bramble Sovereign, but unfortunately it often does a whole lot of nothing, since there aren't actually that many creatures to abuse with it. I really enjoy the endgame potential with making tons of Gray Merchant of Asphodel, but the cost to the deck's early game just isn't worth it. I like the extra lifegain from Whip of Erebos to allow us to better abuse Command the Dreadhorde or to more safely attack. Plus, bringing back powerful etb creatures for a final hurrah can help keep us from running out of steam.
Farhaven Elf -> Springbloom Druid: This one's pretty straightforward; I just like the new Springbloom Druid better.
Fleshbag Marauder -> Massacre Girl: Having extra copies of an edict effect is nice, and if I find myself in situations where I'm facing down lone untargettable creatures often, I may consider reversing this swap. However, for now I'm moving to Massacre Girl as a way to clean up larger boards. She seems like a very powerful effect, and while I will have to see how often it clears the board in practice, I like the idea of a reanimate-able board wipe.
Kiora, Master of the Depths -> Search for Azcanta Flip: Kiora was the weakest graveyard-filler card left in the deck after cutting the altar, so I cut it for Search for Azcanta Flip as soon as I got my hands on one. Search is incredibly powerful, filtering draws and eventually transforming into a powerful draw engine.
Pernicious Deed -> Hostage Taker: With Massacre Girl as another board wipe, I think I'm pretty safe cutting this for another piece of expensive removal. I've always loved Hostage Taker, but for some reason moved away from it when I built this iteration of Muldrotha. I'm excited to bring it back, since it has always performed very well for me.
Sepulchral Primordial -> Command the Dreadhorde: With Massacre Girl offering another decently powerful reanimation option, I feel comfortable cutting one of the clunkier reanimation targets. I believe Command the Dreadhorde will offer much more utility, being able to steal planeswalkers, reanimate an entire opponent's graveyard, or just serve as another mass reanimation spell for my graveyard.
