Greater Auramancy (or any other of your cards that make your enchantments non targetable) + your Privileged Position and Sigarda, Host of Herons + Avacyn, Angel of Hope if you can get one = Can't touch this.

Kind of. I mean False Prophet , Merciless Eviction , etc. would be able to exile. Other things like Karn the Liberated, Warped World, Scrambleverse , etc. Also I would recommend a Return to Dust simply because it's a versatile tool. It exiles rather than destroys, it can be played instant speed for one artifact or enchantment, or if you can wait and play it sorcery speed you hit two targets.

I think this looks really good for a first EDH. +1

I had Greater Auramancy in here at one point but it gives my enchanted creatures shroud as well so once I enchant Krond, I can't add anymore etc. so I took it out. I'll definitely think about Avacyn, simply because she's ridiculous in any deck. I also thought I had Return to Dust in this deck but maybe not :). Thank you for the suggestions, very helpful.

Any idea on what to replace?

So I played this deck last weekend with my group and holy cow does this deck do so much better since I revamped it haha. I've thought a lot about Avacyn, Angel of Hope and for now I think I'll wait only because she is such a big game changer. However, Shield of the Oversoul would be a nice alternative. The only thing I don't like is the redundancy of flying. I know +2/+2, indestructible would be fantastic for Krond but that tiny little bit bugs me still.

Annnnd putting the oversoul on Elderwood Scion ... well I might just have to find a place for it :)

I actually had Umbra Mystic in here before I changed it up, and it's really good in theory but I could never play it at the right time or it never did anything when I did draw it. Thank you for the suggestion!

I was wondering why you opt to play Krond as your general over Sigarda? You can still have Krond in your deck but Sigarda has more innate protection as a general, and you said your friends don't let Krond stay out much anyway.

Mainly because he was my first commander so I'm very fond of him. He's not very easy to cast and he doesn't stay out very long for the most part but I like his ability when I am able to keep him and its satisfying to be able to use him. A personal challenge you might say. Plus I feel like Sigarda is easier for voltron than Krond and I don't like winning with commander damage. He's more a utility; use him once or twice (more if I'm lucky) while buffing creatures like Elderwood Scion or Fleecemane Lion .

Hope that makes sense :) thanks for stopping by!

Oblivion Ring isn't super useful in EDH. It's not bad, but if you use it on their commander, it just does back to the command zone, leaving O-Ring just sitting there on the field. It's useful in that it would still count as an enchantment, but there are a lot of cards competing for a slot here! Like Eldrazi Conscription . I've had so much fun pulling that sucker out with a Mosswort Bridge . :) Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety have also served me well in my Krond. You also might look at some cards to help playing AGAINST other decks. Vow of Wildness , for example, is very useful against Zedruu the Greathearted . Also, Green Sun's Zenith is useful in case someone pops a Spell Crumple or Hinder on you. Personally, I like running no artifacts in my Krond deck and instead running artifact counters such as Molder Slug and Stony Silence . It might be beneficial for you to do so as well, since the only artifact here is Sol Ring . Artifacts are super popular in EDH, so it's nice to be able to shut them down.

As far as what to take out, I would suggest Celestial Archon , Nylea's Emissary , and Heliod's Emissary . The simple powering-up abilities don't provide a lot of utility, when there are other enchantments that do the same thing but better (Rancor , Dragon Fangs , Ancestral Mask , Vow of Wildness , Celestial Mantle , Eidolon of Countless Battles etc etc. ) But that's just me. I actually keep some creatures in my deck for flavor reasons mostly. xD

So, there's my $0.02. I really love Krond as a commander.

Thank you for your suggestions! I choose not to use Eldrazi Conscription because its just not that fun in my playgroup. Same for Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety. They're definitely good but I don't find them all that fun. I might have to find room for Molder Slug and/or Stony Silence though, you make a very valid point. I made Sol Ring my only artifact on purpose (for flavor more than anything, I mean its an enchantment deck after all :P) and I just couldn't bring myself to take the last one out. I do have Eidolon of Countless Battles, I just have yet to update my deck lol.

As for Celestial Archon, Nylea's Emissary and Heliod's Emissary; you are not the first person to tell me to take them out and I think I'll finally have to listen. I LOVE the concept of them but they cost so much for bestowing that I might as well just put a normal enchantment on them.

I killed my family.....do....do I get one? oh, and a Mana Matrix would be good, as would Cloud Key

have a krondike bar :)

both of those would definitely help with casting my enchantments but i don't really have an issue with that. not to the point where i'd want to add a 6cmc artifact. the Cloud Key might be worth it though... ill add it to the maybe list.

thanks!

I love the deck! +1 upvote from me. I attempted to make a useful Krond deck but it never quite worked as well as it wanted it to, maybe because mine is a bit more budget, but if you're curious I would love to get your opinion on my deck Krond, Archon of Power.

Thank you! And I'd be more than happy to take a look at it. I'll get back to you tomorrow so I can give you a good response, its kind of late for me right now :)
