Thanks for the +1 safearus, however removing a Mana Confluence for a scryland is not beneficial. I do not want to have that chance in which I'm losing my turn one, turn two, or turn three play because of a tap land, and those first 3 turns are crucial in being able to hold a steady ground against aggro. Not too mention Mana Confluence allows me to grab any mana, and with my Courser of Kruphix , Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and all of my forms of alternative mana, that life loss is never an issue.

There are like NO flyers that would die from Bow of Nylea . All of MBA's flyers are 3 toughness+ and all of midrange's flyers are 4 toughness+. In fact, the only flyers I see being played that would die to Bow of Nylea are Hornet Queen and the tokens from Hornet Nest . However using the bow against those is pointless. I have better results from Lightning Strike ing my own Hornet Nest to combat deadly flyers. As for the lifegain, Garruk, Apex Predator and Courser of Kruphix both give me life already, and are better cards because they present a powerful board state and do other things. Deathtouch is also useless when I have this much removal and high toughness creatures.

NO FREAKIN WAY. The guy in the army shirt is my good friends dad. No joke.

Link them first CoachCudaback.

Unfortunately, I don't really believe you BoardFire. He looks far too young to be a father, but if you can provide evidence, I'm all ears.

First, that was 5 years ago. Lots of things happen. I don't want to give out personal info, but I can say his last name is Wolf.

Indeed it is 5 years ago, I completely forgot about that even though they mentioned Bloodbraid Elf .

Okay. I just realized something. My mana base post sideboard is TERRIBLE.

So I basically just removed 4 forests, 1 mountain and 1 Wooded Foothills for 3 of the pain lands and 1 of each scry land, all in my colours.

If I might ask, why do you skip Rakshasa Deathdealer? I see it in the box, but I am curious as to why?

December 23, 2014 9:59 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #15

I can't actually find any mention of it in the comments thuzra :o

But it is going to stay on there anyways X)

Main reason I won't use Rakshasa Deathdealer is that it is a pointless mana sink in a format with lots of exiling, chump blocks, combat trick protection, and a deck that is full of cards that I'd rather dump all my mana on, Garruk, Apex Predator and Crater's Claws. I'm also going to be putting Empty the Pits back in here, so that is another card on this list as well.

thuzra says... #16

That makes sense. I suppose it has not as much late-game value as those cards do. An aggressive card, not as suited to the midrange role you're trying after, I presume?

Femme_Fatale says... #17

eeeeh, nvm on the empty the pits ...

Femme_Fatale says... #18

It is actually more of a control card than anything else. But its colours don't lend very well to that. Best bet would be to put it into Sultai control.

Fade into Antiquity would probably work better than Unravel the Aether for what you want. The three mana gods don't see a lot of play and the main ones you're gong after are both above three so that one maan doesn't make a huge difference. More importantly it gets ride of them permanently. Doesn't let the opponent get lucky and draw it again.

Femme_Fatale says... #22

Wrong PrecintSix6Six. Unravel is an instant. Very important in killing those Master of the Feast while I get the draw, surprise chucking a Courser of Kruphix to prevent them on an important play, and killing a Banishing Light in response to something as surprise attacks.
