Riku of Two Reflections had always been just that. He never could make a decision, maybe he was absent minded or born under a Bad Moon. He grew up studying at the Cathedral of War but mainly stayed in the tallest Reliquary Tower where he learned rare Dark Rituals. One night he had a dream that he was flying through the town and visited every Guildgate, and a Diabolic Tutor appeared before him and told him of a rare Spellbook. When he awoke, he wondered if he could have really Glimpse the Unthinkable. Days later while studying, he came across a Spellbook he had never seen before and he had practically studied every book in the tower. Upon reading it, he learned of a strange Howling Mine that contained two Door to Nothingness. One lead to the well sought after Elixir of Immortality the other would release something called the Progenitus. That night the Diabolic Tutor from his dream appeared before him. It touched him on the forehead instilling a strange spell that could Traumatize his enemies, and told him that he was the chosen one meant to quest for the Howling Mine and seek the doors, then vanished. Riku set out for this quest, taking some Lotus Petals and caught a ride on an Ornithopter, who knew he might find the elixir or he might be the one to unleash this legendary beast. Riku went from town to town searching for a possible location of the mine, with the Haunting Echoes of the the tutor had revealed to him. Word quickly spread of Riku's questing and the two rulers of his realm quickly and sent out their elite fighters to track him down and use him to claim the elixir for themselves. He had kept having to defend himself against the Honor Guard of one king and a Knight of Infamy here and there from the other. He finally made it, he had found the legendary mine, but as he approached some of Jace's Phantasms appeared. He quickly defeated them before they grew too strong. He ventured into the mine and traveled deeper and deeper into it until he finally could go no further. He saw them, the doors, right in front of him. He slowed in his step, but his heart beat faster, was this it? Just when he was upon them, he realized that the statue between the doors, or at least he had thought it a statue, was actually Inner-Chamber Guard. "Halt" he shouted. "What is your purpose?" " I seek the elixir" Riku exclaimed. " You shall not open the doors, for they are merely a connection to nothingness, you will have to defeat me to even try. And you shall not win, you will lose." They began to battle, while Riku thought, that this was his toughest opponent. He seemed to get stronger with every attack Riku made. This opponent seemed undefeatable. Was this all for nothing.
