poonlos Thanks man, appreciate it. I actually just did some changes while you must have been writing that comment, tweaked a few things, and the sideboard. More removal mainboard and more focused sideboard! Cheers!

Have you thought about adding Blasphemous Act ? It's a solid combo with Boros Reckoner , can be useful in removing PW's with your High Priest of Penance and with Assemble the Legion out you can potentially repopulate the battlefield your very next turn and have some serious board-state advantage since blasphemous also just wrecked your opponent. Just an alternate win con to consider!
+1!

Anansi442 Thanks for the suggestion!! I originally had 1 in the sideboard, but I think I might try 2 in the mainboard now instead. I did know of the combo potential with Boros Reckoner but hadn't realized the PW destruction or artifact/enchantment removal with the High Priest of Penance ! Good call on that, I will test with the 2 and see how they do. Will try -2 Warleader's Helix for +2 Blasphemous Act at least until rotation! I think you forgot to hit the +1 before you left lol :P Thanks and cheers!!

Lifebane Zombie , Slaughter Games and Merciless Eviction ? I am trying to create a similar deck and I'm running those. Boros Charm has won me games might want to try it out main deck. Above all, I suggest Lifebane Zombie since it two for ones your opponent and hits a lot of great creatures. Depends on your meta though.

redafroninja I did have Slaughter Games in the SB but they eventually got cut. I do like the idea of a few Lifebane Zombie though, it's just deciding what to swap them out for really! Everything has a reason to be there for the SB. I will try testing them out to see of course. Merciless Eviction I have considered also, will do some testing with it also. Thanks for the suggestions!

This deck is sick man, +1 from me. I would definitely remove the 1x Assemble the Legion for another Rakdos's Return . Its just much more crippling at a quicker speed for your opponent.

Was Slaughter Games
too much mana? I've found myself being able to play it after what I want to get rid of is on the battlefield. Merciless Eviction
tends to provide negative synergy and you already have answers to what it can get rid of. hopefully Theros will give some cards.

8vomit Thanks man, that is a viable option. I will definitely consider it and possibly make the switch, thanks!
redafroninja Yes that's what I found also, other then hitting a Sphinx's Revelation I found it too slow a lot of the time, which is why I decided on the 3 Duress instead. Have fit 3 Lifebane Zombie into the sideboard though, and ya Merciless Eviction isn't right for this build IMO, thanks for the suggestions!

Already opted out on the Lifebane Zombie even sideboard. Control is really the only very tough match for this deck so I've really focused the board into hurting them from turn 1 starting with Duress . Will see how it tests after some control matchups.

I agree with 8vomit you should swap out 1 rakdos's return for assemble the legion. I've played against a deck that ran rakdos's return and it won them the game.

wwhitegoldd I have been contemplating doing the switch, they are both potential game winners. I did add a second one to the sideboard for those match-ups where it will be needed, but I may still do the swap for Assemble the Legion , I've just had success with it already so it's hard for me to part with lol. Thanks for the +1.

So what are the hardest match ups for the deck? I know you mentioned control briefly, anything else?

Definitely seems competitive. Play tested it a few times. Seems to have a good balance of removal and creatures. +1
