Okay, so before I make any suggestions, what are the main plans for achieving victory in this deck? Mill, Infect, Voltron, combo?
What is your playgroup like? Fast, Aggro/Token, Combo, Stax/ Hard Control?
What is your budget collection like? Have you been playing awhile, or have access to the occasional expensive card (like $5-25)?
You said you're not that familiar with blue, but what are your preferred playstyles, or what are you hoping for with this deck?
This will help me know what direction to push you in.

at first i wanna go straight mill/mill combo. was thinking i could take a hexproof dude and throw a bunch of cyphers on him. but i feel like i made a rookie mistake trying to put in too many non synergistic dynamics. ie dinky zombie gen spells.
let's pretend i don't really have any meta.
no budget really, im trading up/ buying some of the cards in my maybe board during this following week. but i prolly won't be getting a $700 jace or a black lotus any time soon if you know what i mean.
if you look at some of my other decks posted you'll quickly realize that i tend to pilot very linearly. my main goal with undertaking this build is to see/understand magic from a new perspective, and become a better player.
thanks alot for your time and consideration, ecmmyers. i really appreciate it.

Alright. So firstly, In EDH it's important to think BIG. Single target mill spells will not help you as much as you think. Mill is sort of like a Burn strategy, only the opponent starts with 100 life instead of 40. In multiplayer (3 opponents) That means you have to do about 273 damage starting turn one (3x91, assuming no mulligans, and everyone draws first turn). That is quite a task normally, but sometimes things shuffle the whole graveyard back in (Kozilek, Ulamog, Elixir of Immortality), which is just like a lifegain deck jumping up 40 pts against a burn deck. I've been running a Lazav deck for some time, I know the struggle.
If you want more combo-oriented mill (which is arguably more consistent, if less versatile), then you want a deck led by Phenax. Check my Faithless Prayers deck on my page for tips on that.
With that in mind, we need to to as much symmetrical (or at least repeatable) mill as possible. Things like Mesmeric Orb, Memory Erosion, Dreamborn Muse, Sword of Body and Mind give you a lot more bang for your mana. If a spell only mills once then it is dead weight. The only possible exception is Traumatize (because it is basically a Bribery for Lazav. Other silver bullets for your silver bullets are Sadistic Sacrament and Praetor's Grasp.
Sometimes Exile effects can also be useful. Lord of the Void, Undead Alchemist, Dimir Doppelganger, can save you from stuff that wants to be in the graveyard. Undead Alchemist also has a fun interaction with Altar of the Brood.
Don't ignore the power of Wheels, also. Wheel and Deal, Windfall, Jace's Archivist are basically 'Each person mills 7'. Plus, Lazav triggers no matter how creatures end up in the grave. Discard, Killed on the Battlefield, Milled, Grinning Totem.
To complement your mill, you need graveyard hate because you don't want to boost the reanimator decks, or any deck that likes a full yard, e.g. Bruna, Daretti, Jarad, Mimeoplasm. Why should they benefit from what you do? Nihil Spellbomb and Bojuka Bog are great targeted graveyard hate.
I don't see the point of you proliferate stuff. Is it only for Szadek and Grindclock? Because both of those could go. Grindclock falls victim to the 'single target' problem, and Szadek is way over costed for all of the resources it takes to actually let him connect. If he had hexproof He'd be baller, but he literally dies if a snowflake lands on him wrong. Then all of your Rogue's Passages, Fireshriekers and Whispersilk Cloaks are basically useless. Szadek needs to be in his own dedicated deck, and even then he comes out way too late to make a difference in a multiplayer game.
I'd also add more draw power in place of stuff like Tome Scour. Visions of Beyond, Deep Analysis, Underworld Connections, Windfall (above), Erebos, God of the Dead. Those are much more useful than some of your current sorceries.
Don't go out and waste money on Glimpse the Unthinkable, by the way. It only mills one player 10 cards, which is about 10% of a full library. Barely passable in Modern, Terrible in EDH.
You need to replace Remand with Counterspell - its just better. For other removal Reality Shift, Hero's Downfall, Slaughter Pact (which will save your skin when someone drops a Consecrated Sphinx against your Notion thief and draws you to death instantly.)
Hope this helps!

PS, I'd drop the Zombie generators for some board wipes like Black Sun's Zenith, Life's Finale or Toxic Deluge.
Rise of the Dark Realms is an okay finisher.
