Cost = Discard (2)

Wheels (1)

Most Nekusar wheels decks exclusively focus on draw. This means the combination of wheel effects (that discard and fill the graveyard) with time twister effects (that do not discard and instead shuffling, and rather than stocking the graveyard, empty it replenishing the library). While still effective in conjunction with Nekusar, the two separate effects work at cross purposes with only half the draw 7s synergizing with discard triggers. But the more significant issue is one of mana. The traditional wheels deck wants to pseudostorm with wheel effects. The problem, though, is you'll run out of mana (potentially) before game-winning damage. Instead of including all draw 7's, my deck tries to exclusively focus on wheel of fortune effects to fully synergize with the draw 7, but also the discard component and the graveyard stocking (both mine and the opponents'). The advantage of a discard focus is first off greater synergy but also that it exploits some of the inherent mana advantage of utilizing discard as an alternative cost mitigated by the wheels. The other significant change has to do with removal. Traditional wheels decks go for standard removal effects. I think this is anti-synergistic. Bounce in a wheels deck doesn't just act as a tempo play but as removal. Moreover, with cards like Waste Not, bounce actually gives the opponents more cards to discard to feed into card advantage and board presence for you. Please let me know what you think.
