How useful do you find Lantern Scout and why no Gideon, Ally of Zendikar if you're doing ally?

Gideon was tested and didn't work with all my double black costs. Lantern scout works great. It gets me enough life to use draw in my deck and be able to full swing and take an attack from my opponent. It's a key card in the deck.

Alright! I can dig this! Only thing I could say is maybe add Valorous Stance to the sideboard, but that is just a thought!

What about Unified Front? Light splash for red (a single battle land). It gets you 3 tokens triggers healer 3 times, 3 things to die for cutthroat, and 3 attackers/blockers. Surge of RIghteousness in the main seems wrong.

Tested with Unified Front. I'm now Testing with hagra and emaria. I might switch it back because I don't like it that much with hagra and emaria in it. As for Valorous Stance I could have swore i had 3 of them but I can't find them.

Collected Company would be great for this because it will trigger Kalastria Healer a lot and you could potentially get some great drops off the top of the library like Drana, Liberator of Malakir.

I have tried it in this deck and it's quite unlucky with its hits. It hit lands and spells that I needed and would send then to the bottom. In theory great idea.

My version has a higher and more consistent Win%. You should take a look sometime.

Love the deck! I am working an abzan lifedrain right now but it's pretty much all BFZ cards. I stick really close to the ally theme and utilize Collected Company, March from the Tomb, and Rally the Ancestors. Feel free to check it out, and don't mind if I steal your sideboard cuz that Infinite Obliteration has been tempting me for some time.

I like rally but I don't like that it exiles my cards, hence March from the Tomb. And Infinite Obliteration is great but I whiffed on it in my final match. He played a Hangarback Walker and I used obliteration, it was a one of on his deck. I should have said rhino or anafenza. And feel free to take whatever you want from me as long as I'm given credit lol.

Test played with it and my deck won. i dunno why, but see mine. :D

I have found some use in running a unified front - if you can get 3-4 colours off (even through dual lands) you can get a 8 health swing per cast, and 4 allies for drana to potentially boost into 2/2 attacking creatures a turn later.

Also with all that potential lifegain, wouldn't you want to run at least a couple of bloodbond vampires to make best use of it? Plus it gives you something to fight off beatstick armies.

Have you considered any Collective Companys or Rally the Ancestors?

They work well with Zulaport Cutthroat and Kalastria Healer.
