Commander: altered Zedruu the Greathearted

We shall face their blades and arrows with arms outstretched in peace...

Well, not strictly true. This deck is designed to win without dealing a single point of damage to any of our enemies.

First Category of Cards: Inducers of Peace: These are the cards like Lightmine Field and Propaganda that discourage or even prevent attacking. In the early game they prevent me from getting killed, and in the later game (when I have enough of them to go around) Zedruu can give them to my "opponents" and protect them too.

Second Category: Defenders: Darien, King of Kjeldor and Jareth, Leonine Titan head up this category, designed also to discourage attackers. Though we don't want to hurt anybody, there are times when it will be necessary to block, and when those times come we want blockers that can easily overpower the attackers.

Third Category: Counters: Though we frown on removal, preventing dangers from ever hitting the field is perfectly alright, so Counterspell and Render Silent and their friends will happily make an appearance.

Fourth Category: Functional Removal: Rather than remove, we might as well just Imprison in the Moon any threats, or throw them in a Ghostly Prison.

Fifth Category: Anti-removal: Some are likely going to be hostile to our peaceful efforts, and if they try to take out our people we can always fall back on Mother of Runes and Eight-and-a-Half-Tails.

Sixth Category: Wincons: Of course, we need some way to stop the fighting once and for all, and for that we have our alternate wincons. Azor's Elocutors, Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance (which we combo with Venser's Journal), etc. Only once we are victorious can we end the bloodshed.

Thanks for taking a look! Total nonviolence might be unpractical in this game of ours, but if it can be done anywhere, EDH and my friend Zedruu are gonna make it happen!
