This is my attempt at a rakdos miracle deck. Great thanks to crashTDI. This deck is largely based off of his deck Hades Miracle. The main idea is to dominate hard using control and burn until you can scry an awesome combo like the 10 damage Miracle + Reverberate.
It's still a prototype so no sideboard but here's the mainboard:
1) Blightning - Awesome card. Burn + discard and it stacks with reverberate.
2)
Gobhobbler Rats
- The idea is to burn fast and hard so these guys let you keep something decent on the field even if you end up top-decking.
3)
Fill with Fright
- Discard + scry.
4)
Flamespeaker Adept
- Amazingly strong hitter in scry decks, especially late game when you can scry 3 or 4 times in a row.
5) Increasing Vengeance - Worth having for the flashback. You won't always use the card but you'll always have it for late game if you need it.
6) Lightning Bolt - Awesome 1 cast card. No scry but 3 damage for 1 mana is great for controlling the field or burning your opponent.
7)
Lose Hope
- Good for pesky early game creatures and it's always good to have -1/-1 counters for indestructible.
8) Magma Jet - High cast for the damage but the scry totally makes up for it.
9)
Portent of Betrayal
- If you couldn't take something out before it got too beefy to destroy, why not just borrow it? Also has scry.
10)
Ravenous Rats
- Not everybody likes it. I think it's one of the best 2 cast chump blockers you can have. Early game discard can make or break a game.
11) Reverberate - A couple of extra copy cards on top of increasing vengeance.
12) Seething Song - Red mana for days. Great for when you pull into a lot of swamps.
13) Thunderous Wrath - This is your money shot card. One mana for five damage. You'll scry into at least one every single game.
Some tips:
Copying discard instants and sorceries is a really awesome way to take control of the game early. If you can make somebody top-deck by turn 3 using mana ramp cards, you've probably won the game.
If you're dominating the game, save some cards. Copy spells can be just as strong as a defensive tool. The goal is to make them top-deck, not end up doing it yourself.
