This deck aims to exploit the whip mechanic with Ozzy and Aetherling while controlling the board and your opponent's hand with counters and removal. Mill yourself with Jace or Glimpse the Future for quick whip access to Obzedat, Ghost Counsil and AEtherling then use their exile abilities to return them permanently to the battlefield. With the help of Cartel Aristocrat and Gift of Immortality, the Disciple of Phenax can lock the opponent out of the game by forcing them to discard their card draws during each draw step before even instant spells can be cast.
