I'm missing something here. Why the Gitaxian Probe and not more lands?

March 2, 2016 7:37 a.m.

RamblinMan. Look at the Mana curve. No need for more lands. Especially because AEther Vial.

The Gitaxian Probe and Niveous Wisps give you draw, something hard to come by in White.

The whole purpose of this knights deck is speed. So, the Mana curve is low and there are lots of draw cards. Try it and see. It is fast.

This is a good looking deck, I like it. Have you considered Kinsbaile Cavalier, even as a one of? I realise it would raise your CMC a touch, but Double Strike is great for a finisher

Denial048. Thanks for the suggestion. You are right about that card, it is good. My finisher is Knight Exemplar. I hate cards with CMC over 3. I usually just put cheap draw and good cheapies instead. Indestructible and +1/+1 also finishes many games.

My own Knights deck runs Knight Exemplar as the main card, but I personally think Kinsbaile Cavalier is a great way to top it off. But keeping your CMC down is worthwhile as well.

Johoho and a vial of whiskey. Pun intended? Doesn't matter, the name still wins a +1.

Haakon, Stromgald Scourge would make your knights even drunker. They are beaten down and just stand up claiming 'tis but a scratch. And you don't even need to include any black sources since you can vial him in.

Ever thought about splashing green for Coco and Knight of the reliquary?

March 19, 2016 10:15 a.m.

doismell. Not even once. Check my profile and you will see I simply don't play that stuff.

  • Mirran Crusader has always been straight up awesome!

  • Silverblade Paladin loves to share double strike!

  • Spirit Mantle even two of these auras makes sure your heavy handers do their mega damage

  • Emerge Unscathed a possible choice for you as well. Great value due to rebound and it helps do what spirit mantle does plus more!

Let me know if these choices work out alright for ya! I love knight tribal

My mistake, Brave the Elements works so much better than either spirit mantle or emerge unscathed for this deck

March 21, 2016 1:08 p.m.

Dokujin. I don't run 3 drops. Thanks

Spirit Mantle is okay for some decks. But, one removal spell can get rid of two cards. I'd rather just run another cheap knight.

Cool! I get that it keeps the speed up quite nicely and the only exceptions you've made here on the 2 CMC is the Exemplar and the O-rings (makes sense) He is kinda flimsy and makes himself an easy target but Accorder Paladin's battle cry gets pretty righteous! I'm betting you saw that and struck him from the list because of it.

I still love him!

Why are you not running only basic lands or some useable nonbasic lands, you have no landfall so you don't have to be worried this triger wil not be used and also you have mono white deck so you dont need them for this eather.

He runs 8 fetch lands as a way to thin his deck. As with most players, it is preferable to remove that extra land to reduce the chance of drawing a land. Sure, in total he only runs 10 usable land, but in a deck like this, 10 is all he will need.

Especially with Gitaxian Probe, Mishra's Bauble and Niveous Wisps to dig through the deck.

March 31, 2016 8:57 a.m.

Denial048. Yes. Thanks.

I prefer not to draw land. Check the mana curve of this deck, and all my decks. I run low mana curve with lots of draw and fetch. I focus on aggro. That way I top deck a good card every turn. Kill them before they combo.
