A tiny leaders deck with a white devotion theme for Eight-and-a-Half-Tails. Basic strategy is to help stabilize with a mixture of controlling effects and life gain, and then eventually punch through with our creatures using the commander's abilities.

Devotion is the second cycle of mono-color tiny leaders decks I've made (the first being the cycle of flip planeswalkers from Magic Origins). I've been doing these cycles mostly as exercises to see if I can come up with something mildly competitive given the extra restrictions on deck building. And because I really, really, like completing cycles. Way too much for my own good. Here's the guidelines for deck construction I set up for this cycle:

1. Put in a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and actually try to take advantage of it.
2. Try to find/use a commander that wants as much mana of the relevant color as possible.

This arbitrary rules I decided on for this cycle of decks ended up being a lot looser than then the previous cycle, mostly because the "devotion" mechanic lends itself more readily to lots of archetypes. Basically any deck that's mostly colored permanents would work.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with how this cycle turned out, and I'm particularly pleased with this deck. Omnath (the green deck commander) is a known tiny leaders powerhouse, but next to him, I think this deck could do pretty well for itself, which isn't something that could probably be said of all the decks in this cycle.

Partial credit for this deck goes to kona_worldwaker for her deck: deck:10-06-15-paint-it-white. While I've made several changes to the base of that deck in order to emphasize my enchantment sub-theme, the Isochron Scepter package was something I hadn't realized until I saw her deck. It can really help stabilize the board until we can hit a critical mass of white to start activating Eight-and-a-Half-Tails as much as possible.

Suggestions, comments, criticisms are all welcome and appreciated. I may not act on suggestions right away, since this deck was mostly a deck building exercise, but I do enjoy seeing what other people think could improve the deck.
