Hello!
I'm a new MTG player (1 year-ish) looking to expand my deck count through my love for white. After making an angel deck that initially had many knights and seeing their synergy first hand, I decided to make a dedicated knight tribal. This deck is mono-white modern and is to be played casually and at FNM.
This deck uses an array of knights with different utilities to provide an actionable mana curve, with full playsets of
Student of Warfare
, Knight of the White Orchid, and Knight Exemplar. Knight Exemplar brings the deck together with a +1/+1 and an indestructible effect, while Knight of the White Orchid provides mana ramp combos with Path to Exile. Finally,
Student of Warfare
gives a cheap body that can be upgraded with excess mana to become a powerful threat, or remain as a chump blocker.
A hate sideboard helps with problematic match-ups with a couple extra late-game threats. Aether Vial and Cavern of Souls would be ideal but are prohibitively expensive at this time.
FEEDBACK WANTED: What changes would you make to improve this deck? Is there anything I'm overlooking? Are there any potential synergies or strong creatures I'm missing? What are your thoughts, what would you do, and why would you do it?
This is my second time into research and drafting and look forward to reading how I can make it even better. Thanks in advance for your help. :)
