So I agree with that the fetch lands are not needed, but I already had a playset, so there really isn't a down side for running them.
I am going to remove them from the list so other people don't think that they are necessary.
The swords are fun and I will probably test a few in the deck, but they are also 3 mana so a little slow. Batterskull is way to slow! this deck rarely gets 5 lands out. The card would be a dead card 80 percent of the time.

Sword of Fire and Ice is a great buff, removal, protection, and card draw. I run Sword of Feast and Famine and Sword of War and Peace in addition to fire and ice. These swords are amazing and can win games. I agree with Hjaltrohir, you should replace skyfisher with apprentice. You should also get Bonesplitter, cheap and effective, this equipment is the best 1 drop equipment. I also suggest a playset of Siguarda's Aid. I tried just a 3-of, and I found myself losing more. This card is responsible for almost all of my wins, along with Kor Duelist.

I Don't have a published sideboard as cards in ones side board are meta calls and change so frequently. Some cards that I do run are Devout Lightcaster, Rest in Peace, and Leyline of Sanctity and some other nice Side tech.

Acmegamewerks yeah after testing this deck out a bunch, kor dualist is definitely way more of a power house that kitesail. However, I also thought of trading out skyfisher for kitesail, as I noticed that having skyfisher was often in my hand when I did not want/need its effect yet. Otherwise this deck has done very well against my friends! Im going to try Cranial Plating next. Ive also tested a two of Leonin Shikari and honestly it was never as useful as I had hoped it would be.

i would suggest Bonesplitter as it is a cheap equipment and pairs very well with Kor Duelist swinging in for 6 on turn 2

I have found Cranial Plating to be super aggro in this deck. Especially with all the 0 drop artifacts. Stretched to dualist and he has the evasion necessary to survive from being blocked. Stone Haven Outfitter has been awesome. Ive thought about paradise mantle, because while simultaneously acting as a mana source, and as an artifact, it also reduces the amount of lands needed in the deck. I will definitely test that out.

So just out of curiosity what is your game plan against cards like Fracturing Gust I feel like it would shut you down and find that cards like it are in heavy supply especially in sideboards due to Affinity

I've found Mirror Entity to be surprisingly good in this deck, as it buffs basically everything, providing a nice three drop with a repeatable effect. Simlarly Flayer Husk provides a body and triggeres equipment effects neatly.
On the sideboard front Kor Firewalker and Lone Missionary are fun options.
You considered a more ally heavy list looking at Stoneforge Acolyte/Stone Haven Outfitter/Ondu Cleric/Cliffside Lookout, looking to power through with pure card advantage? It feels like it might be ok, but I'd love to hear the thoughts of someone who has piloted it.
Alternatively, have you considered running Prototype Portal as a 1-of top end for the deck? Repeatable shields seems nice.

I think this deck would go well with Quest for the Holy Relic. and maybe some 0 drops+some big equipment like Batterskull or Argentum Armor. great deck

No, don't do what classictravel... suggests. I tried that, it was inconsistent and hard to pull off.

returning player after on hiatus for 10yrs i guess. Copying this deck and probably will build this. i notice during testing this deck it tends to stall getting enough mana out. Whats the suggested starting mana on the starting hand?

Hello njinco, so usually 2 lands and a Paradise Mantle is perfect but usually at least 2 lands is good.

Nice deck! +1. Maybe some more Captain's Claws? I wouldn't know though, as I don't play Equipment in Modern, although I might try to start after looking at this deck.

You can just order online from something like TCGPlayer, CardKingdom, and StarCityGames. Every time I have ordered from one of them, they have delivered well.

Hi,
You say you want to find a home for Kitesail Apprentice - i think it would be good in the place of Kor Skyfisher. The reason for this is because it is one mana cheaper, flies when equipped (and you said you need a flying finisher) and doesn't have the bounce clause which your deck doesn't really make use of.
I don't agree necessarily with your inclusion of fetchlands - if you are only fetching basics and with no revolt-type effets, they seem like a wasted $80 as their deck-thinning usefulness is negligible (if you don't believe me look here)
Also, with regards to your equipment choices, I feel like you could make some improvements (especially if you have the money from the fetchlands to spend elsewhere!). I would recommend Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice and Sword of Light and Shadow. Because of your equipment tutors, you shouldn't need to run more than one of each. Batterskull as well is a threat in itself and attached to Kor Duelist or Kitesail Apprentice is just game over. FOr these inclusions, I would recommend removing Cathar's Shield and Flayer Husk neither of which seem like they are adding a huge amount to the deck.
If you also are looking to play this deck non-competitively, Stoneforge Mystic (banned in modern) could be a fantastic inclusion.
