The deck has a few different playing options. It works in multiplayer format, but is designed to be a 1v1 killing machine.

The obvious route is to build an army and attack with Odric, killing any utility creatures that an opponent might have and getting there after about 3 or 4 huge swings.

Spot removal like PtE and Condemn is generally saved to take out any Iona or Eldrazi creature, as Odric can attack around them.

Cards like Culling Dais and Springleaf drum take advantage of having many creatures. Springleaf drum, Sol Ring, Mind Stone all generate momentum and speed. An opening hand with Sol Ring can consistently win on turn 5.

There's a lot of artifacts in this deck.
