Could you take out a Nyxborn Shieldmate and add in a Paragon of New Dawns to bolster your soldiers? I think it would help turn that 18 hit to a 20-30+ hit.

That and put in Preeminent Captain and Phalanx Leader

While I do like the Paragon and I have thought about him, the four mana is rough on this deck. I would rather run the Shieldmate as a 1-drop to get more soldiers out early.

And Preeminent Caption seems nice, but being a three drop, he doesn't attack until turn four, and at that point his ability is somewhat worthless seeing as your hand is empty.

Yea but you can play paragon for free and still be able to instants check out my deck on my profile it's kinda like yours

I like the idea, but it feels like whenever I put together a combo like that it never works out. Without the Paragon, Preeminint is still not too good. I feel like I would rather keep everything three-drop or below and have it consistently play out quickly. However, I might try it and see how it plays out.

We're not telling you what to do, mate. I honestly just see it as logical to add Paragon in, but that's just me.

With as much heroic as you're running some more targeting spells would probably be good.

The Idea is solid but your deck has one huge issue, Time. When you play a deck like Jund Monsters or WU Control They will brick you after turn three either with removal or big butts like Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix . I would consider adding more threatening soldiers or a way to protect them from sweepers and other creatures.

Boros Elite is brutal. I know you want to keep it rotation friendly but a guy at my local stoore has a red human splashing red deck and he rarely loses.he uses Cavalry Pegasus to give them all flying, with Boros Elite , Soldier of the Pantheon , Dryad Militant and Boros Charm all doing alot of work. He consistantly wins turn 3-5

Dig the deck man. gj, I personally find Eidolon of Countless Battles to slow, and same with Paragon of New Dawns which I saw someone else suggest. I myself run white weenie soldiers, but I use current cards because they are way to good to pass up. But your deck has given me some ideas about post rotation. If you have time check my deck out. +1

Brimaz, King of Oreskos is a good bet as well, especially with Preeminent Captain

Preeminent Captain is to slow unless you go midrange soldiers, and using Preeminent with Brimaz, King of Oreskos doesn't spawn the cat token.

Since you're using so many one-drops, may I suggest you Return to the Ranks ? It's a good way to bypass a board swipe, and since it has Convoke, you may use it with Raise the Alarm to bring back more creatures.

And, btw, thanks! I've totally forgotten Raise the Alarm ! Maybe I use it in the sideboard of my Naya Soldiers.

I would replace Nyxborn Shieldmate for Fabled Hero . It fits rather well as being a good, low costing, soldier creature but it also has very good Heroic triggers. This will also help with many 3-4 mana cost bigger creatures as it just out classes them when you Heroic him. Brimaz, King of Oreskos is another solid 3 drop soldier.

try hall of triumph, they use it in mono blue devotion, so it might be a good idea

To help get around creatures you could use Gods Willing to your creatures so they have pro of the color of the creatures that could block it. Note, you need to give them pro before the opponent declares blockers. If they block you then they still block and just simply do no damage to your creature.
