Sideboard

Behold! The one true azorius "control" deck to rule them all... like the best police officer... using a bit too much force than necessary...

Back at it again with another deck designed to just do one thing very well, hate on free spells. Now, obviously the real threats are the free spells on the first 2 turns of the game, like rakdos scam... However, if we can get past that we'll be right there in the clear for those dreaded cascade players and the new discover mechanic.

Our entire plan is to stabilize the early game and then force the opponent into a "fair" midrange creature centered combat game where the Solitudes will not fly out on end steps and Fury stays in the 7th circle of hell where it belongs. Bonus points on absolutely crushing Crashing Footfalls hopes and dreams.

Anyway, Sometimes it's just fun to take a known archetype and try and find a new way to pilot it. Just know that against spell slinger decks decks or true control matchups you'll have to approach playing good cop/ bad cop very differently. Splashing green for Gaddock Teeg was very up there on my mind and isn't that hard to do if you have just the extra shocks available.
