Collected Company? You have 30 creatures and there all 3 or less mana

Splashing for Collected Company is a good idea, but adding 4-of that and the lands to support the additional color takes the deck way out of budget territory.

Valor in Akros combos well with double strikers and Secure the Wastes

Valor in Akros looks strong, but I think the cost of this effect is a little too expensive for a low-cost weenie deck like this.

Yeah makes sense, you have some good chump blocker use with Brave the Sands and a double striker booster in Citadel Siege

A card I used when I initially built a standard white weenies deck was Glaring Aegis. It has REALLY good synergy with Dromoka Warrior, making it a swinging 4/4 on turn 3.

I'll add it to my maybe board. I'm only running 2 Dromoka Warrior, and I don't know what to cut to add Glaring Aegis.

Blighted Steppe good for late game life gain.

try adding a playset of Valorous Stance

October 2, 2015 1:09 p.m.

Nelstone says... #10

I dropped one Valorous Stance to make room for one Radiant Purge in the sideboard. Radiant Purge is good against El Rhino and Mantis Rider, whereas the Stance does nothing to the Mantis.

Nelstone I think that Radiant Purge is just a ridiculously good card in standard right now. I also like the idea for this deck. Everyone is running 3-5 colored decks because the mana is insanely good right now and I think a consistant mono colored deck that is quick and has a lot of can trips is just well positioned. Radiant Purge might even be a main-deckable card with almost every deck running multicolored creatures.

Radiant Purge kills Siege Rhino, Mantis Rider, most dragonlords, and a number of other great cards.

DirtDiver12595, totally agree. I only have one Radiant Purge in the side because I only own one, but upping it to at least a 2-of sounds really strong. If 4-5c decks become the FNM norm, a possibly 4(!) in the main might not be too ridiculous.

Just ordered 3 Radiant Purge to fill out my playset @ .34 each. In before the world realizes it's the premier removal until March and it spikes in price.

Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit is a bucket of value for the battlefield and for your wallet. The more creatures you cast, the better she gets and getting creatures out there is a pretty White Weenie thing to do.

Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit has been in and out of this deck's design, and is currently out. I've found in testing with her in this deck that I don't want to attack with her, lest she die and I lose her value. And this deck needs to be aggressive.

I've settled on the aggressiveness and first strike capabilities of Consul's Lieutenant and Knight of the White Orchid to fill the two-drop slot.

Nelstone have you considered running a playset of Kytheon's Irregulars in this deck? I've been experimenting with it for this list and it seems to work really well. The ability to tap down opponent's creatures just makes him perfect for pushing through a tough board state plus it makes it much easier for him to become renowned. I've actually replaced Archangel of Tithes with him for two reasons, 1) budget cost goes down and 2) archangel is good but has low power so it doesn't really help that much with the quick aggro goal of the deck which is to kill your opponent before he gets his Siege Rhino and stuff out. Just a thought :)

I like that line on thinking, DirtDiver12595. The Angel is in the deck for the evasion and to make blocking and attacking difficult, but the tap-down ability of Kytheon's Irregulars may line up better with the decks primary goals. And, it's less expensive!

Good call. I'm going to make the switch.

Nelstone believe me I loooooooove Archangel of Tithes but I've found that i'll tap out to slam it down and then it just makes a really really really good blocker haha. It's more of a control card to me.

What about two Hero of Goma Fada over the Wingmate Rocs?

Like many people before me, I would suggest Archangel of Tithes.

And, because you hate the other decks so much, let them pay even more and play Vryn Wingmare. I mean fuck this mas removal or 2-3 Mana kill spell. You just have to spend more for it while I beat you down :*

October 7, 2015 3:13 p.m.

Nelstone says... #21

I think that Archangel of Tithes and Vryn Wingmare fit better in more of a control shell. As DirtDiver12595 points out, the Angel can end up only being good blocker. Kytheon's Irregulars ability forces opponent's creatures to tap, clearing the big ones out of the way.

Archangel of Tithes is a great blocker, but also a great Aggressor. She binds ressources. He wants to block all your weenies? Make him pay. He cannot? Well he has to take the potential 5+ damage around turn 5-7.It will also limit his ability to play cards, because he has to incorporate the mana cost of attacking and blocking.Mana not spent on cards will make him fall behind.

Vryn Wingmare hits a same home similar to her. While the creature makes your deck feel more controlly, it really is not, because it makes you pay, too. But you are prepared. Your non-creature cards if existing are very cheap and most of your spells are creatures. So only your opponent is at an severe disadvantage.

I hope I could raise some valid points, but in the end, some people just need this "feel" for their own deck. Just give'em a chance ;)

I think I already +1, so much to the thing concerning if I like your deck :D

4 kytheon seems excessive with that legendary status and mandatory transform cycling the indestructible and forced attacks are nice but I could see it being too much
