You know what card seems really anti-synergistic but actually works magnificently against other aggro? Sublime Archangel . I know it seems weird, but if you're both just racing for damage, dropping him will make them scramble to put out a flyer, and if they can't, then you swing for 9-15 in the air per turn, depending on how many times you've gotten precinct through and still get to keep blockers against whatever silliness they're concocting on the other side of the board.

I like white for the art :P

Nearheath Pilgrim Might be a good option for side boarding at least.

I'd consider -2 Elite Inquisitor +2 Nearheath Pilgrim I'm sure if you bonded it with the Silverblade Paladin s soulbond partner you'd be pleased.

Then maybe I'm just not seeing the true value of Elite Inquisitor

...even Attended Knight seems like a viable alternative to Elite Inquisitor Ya get a lil more bang out of your champions while keeping a 2/2 FS and a chump blocker?

April 20, 2013 4:22 a.m.

The pilgrims could work very well, I've actually been looking for a way to squeeze them in so I'll think I'll give that a try actually , thanks a lot!

I would run Angel of Jubilation over Mikaeus, the Lunarch . I really don't like him. He's kind of fun with Gavony Township , but you're not running that, you're running Slayers' Stronghold instead. I've always been a HUGE fan of white weenies and I often run them myself although since Mirrordin block cycled it's not quite as strong. Anyways the Angels gives you the benefit of having a decent sized flying defender, that gives you the Lord effect, which there really isn't any in standard currently besides Mayor of Avabruck  Flip and Captain of the Watch which both don't fit into this deck much. although Mikaeus, the Lunarch has potential to boost your creatures even farther than Angel of Jubilation , I think the addition of a second flyer ((excluding the token from Doomed Traveler )) is the better option. And the fact that there aren't any anthems(besides Collective Blessing ) really BLOWS hard.

This is massively weak to red decks. Especially ones that run Stromkirk Noble . Or are pushing for speed, with Rakdos Cackler , Hellrider etc. I do see the Bonds of Faith , but that really won't help much, since you will most like only get 1 or 2 max in 10 turns. Bonfire of the Damned , Blasphemous Act . Tragic Slip , Mizzium Mortars , Electrickery , Homing Lightning ...and on and on and on will punish.

There are also Supreme Verdict , Terminus , Merciless Eviction ...tons of board-wipe spells in Standard atm.

I would highly recommend at least one Blind Obedience - situational, yes, but slows down your opponents tremendously, allowing your weenies to go nuts.

I would think of adding some Safe Passage , Faith's Shield as main-board, and possibly Call To Serve (for flying). Could do this by removing one of the mikaeus (he is useful, but since he is legendary having more than 2 hurts you if you are unlucky to get 3 in hand on first draw or something like that). One or even 2 of the Boros elites. Not many, but even one or two more spells to keep your army up is crucial, since there are SO many board wipes out there in standard.

Have you considered Righteous Charge ? I know Rally the Peasants has the flashback effect, but you only have 5 mountain generation total, and righteous charge would boost the survive rate of your weenies. Another radically useful spell, though a risk in your deck due to only 5 mountains, is Thatcher Revolt . Especially for the champions. Boosts them right up.

You could also add some really low-cost flyers like Serra Avenger

I agree with Forsythe in using Safe Passage as it could really protect you against burn. Not so much removal, but that's what Faith's Shield is for :). Blind Obedience will also do wonders against other agro/weenie decks. Really, I don't think I would change a thing about this deck. It's nice to see White Weenie is still going strong. GG+1

Now... i havn't read too far up in the comments, so i apologize if this has already been addressed... but...

-1 Mountain

-3 Plains

+4 Sacred Foundry

With that, you'll be able to flash back any amount of Rally the Peasants as well as activation of Slayers' Stronghold .

April 30, 2013 3:10 p.m.

I agree with the Safe Passage as well and will look for a place for them haha. Same with the Blind Obedience . and as far as the land goes I would love to ad 4x Sacred Foundry but sadly.... im broke. haha i will for sure add them when i get some more money laying around. thanks everyone for the advice and comments!

Just ran this deck with my own twist and pulled a first. THANK YOU for the inspiration, I really liked playing it. SUPER aggressive. Turn 2-3-4 punches to the face

@Disarray.

I actually think the Elite Inquisitor is a much better option than Attended Knight in this deck.

The Attended Knight costs an extra mana, has no vigilance (or protection, but that's very circumstantial with Inquisitor), and only produces a 1/1 chump blocker that doesn't boost the Champion of the Parish because it isn't a human (just a white soldier).

Elite Inquisitor Does GLORIOUS things. Stromkirk Noble ? Ya, no. Olivia Voldaren wants it for her vampire army? Think again. Mayor of Avabruck  Flip or, better yet, Howlpack Alpha  Flip ? Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip or any other Werewolf critter? Sit there and look pretty. ANY sort of zombie creature? Shoo. The vigilance really adds a lot to his power, swings and defends at the same time, really can't go wrong with that glorious combination of traits.

May 7, 2013 3:13 p.m.

I would consider sideboarding Thraben Heretic to help your deck to deal with some pesky graveyard loving creatures, such as Gravecrawler or anything with undying. it may actually be worth working into your main deck. Another Alternative to this would be Rest in Peace . I have also found Curse of Exhaustion to be a useful sideboard element in white decks, especially against Izzet decks.

Nice deck. +1

Is Urgent Exorcism in your SB for handling Obzedat, Ghost Council plus enchantments? I can see that would be a problematic card given all of your other creature hate is cast in your turn.

May 13, 2013 4:54 p.m.

Yes. Obzedat really messes up my game, mainly due to the fact that most people exile him at their end step so I am not able to Oblivion Ring Fiend Hunter or Bonds of Faith him. Thank you kindly for the +1 as well!

Knight Exemplar is stronk , maybe u should add 2 of them if it aint standard

May 14, 2013 10:28 a.m.

Well, I've never been a big fan of Rally the Peasants and similar effects though it is the best of its kind with the flashback. That being said, I would personally move more toward Mentor of the Meek and Angel of Jubilation . The first provides card advantage which is rare in decks like this.. I've had many a game stall out and the longer you can keep the pressure coming, the better. Angel of Jubilation is good for your troops and has the flying nod. Either way, you get a +1 from me for using War Falcon alone and I wish you the best of luck on your games.

May 15, 2013 10:31 p.m.

I would add Renounce the Guilds because your in mono white and it's a great removal
