Ladies and gentlemen - Weeeelcome to the auction

This deck concept is quite simple and its success depends on two circumstances. First of all it's partly about gambling and we try to reach a ciritical point where we start to playing a game in our game - the totally inception!

First critical point:

Your opponents life are at a low level, so that they doesn't want to bid life anymore. Boooyaa!

Second critical point:

You have more life points than your opponents and can overplay during the auction without any problems.

So, at the end you should have reached a crucial lifepoint asymmetry between you and your opponents.

  1. The key cards are Children of Korlis and Tainted Sigil .
  2. But there is also a chain combo-situation possibe, for instance: Sacrifice Children of Korlis for example Immolating Souleater , then activate Vizkopa Guildmages second ability and sacrifice Tainted Sigil . To be specific: Cast immolating souleater for 18 lp, sacrifice Children of Korlis, gain 18 life back, activate Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability, your opponents lose 18 life and usually die, but if not, then they still lose 18 life and you gain 36 life!
  3. The same you can do with Elixir of Immortality, Lightning Helix and Vizkopa Guildmage.
  4. You can also Tutor cards by paying x life with Plunge into Darkness and doing the same like I described at point 2.
  5. At the end you can start a "Game-in-Game"-Game with your bidding cards. They won't bid because of the huge lifepoint asymmetry between you and them, so you can take control over their creatures with Illicit's Auction, you can draw cards with Pain's Reward , you can counter spells with Mages' Contest ooorr even better: you can start a Goblin Game .

Please Note, this is just a casual deck for fun! Don't expect to win often with this deck. To have more fun, it makes sense to play this deck in a 2-Headed-Giant Game!
