Have you considered Notion Thief instead of the unraveler?

Post-rotate... But yes I have. I'd also use Whispering Madness at that point. Thanks for feedback!

Plus, Fate Unraveler is a win con. If they're drawing four cards a turn, they die pretty quick. Between Dakra Mystic having them draw garbage AND lose life, Master of the Feast causing damage even with card draw, and Dictate of Kruphix giving them two draws a turn, you've got rapid life loss with even 1 Unraveler out there. Its irony because it turns a positive scenario into a negative one. There is also enough card draw in there to counteract their "card advantage", between the Eidolon of Blossoms, Nylea's Presence, and Karametra's Favor. All told, there are 20 enchantment creatures and 12 enchantments.

i do not think market festival fits with this type of deck. Maybe some counter spells would be nice or a couple of planeswalkers in their place. All your spells are 4 drops and are lacking in the 3 spot where dissipate, cancel, and dissolve could be placed.

Thanks for the productive feedback, Raca! I was considering something for the 2 drop spot like Brain Maggot, would that fit the feel of this thing a little better? Also, do you think this deck's central conceit works?

Well since Back To Nature is great reprinted i would stay away from the enchantment theme to be honest. A 2 mana destroy your board at instant speed is going to reck this deck. If you want a good card to try to build a BUG deck around try Chasm Skulker

Chasm Skulker is going to be my sleeper pick for M15. It combos with Dictate of Kruphix, Dakra Mystic, Life's Legacy, Master Biomancer, Works great with Black Removal spells and counterspells.

There is going to be alot of enchantment hate coming up so i would stay away from those types of decks. All it takes is someone to sideboard right and boom you lose 5-7 cards on the field.

Take the time to check out my favorite m15 cards to brew with. Chasm Skulker Polymorphist's Jest , Aetherspouts Hornet Nest Indulgent Tormentor Jorubai Murk Lurker.

I think the Jorubai Murk Lurker for 1B to give a creature life link is going to be great to put on a big green or black creature. 2 mana per lifelink is amazing cheap, and can race quite nicely with a big Arbor Colossus , Polkurnaos World Eater, or Terra Stomper.

For the side board you could put in Windstorm to help against flyers or perhaps a swarm of them. Nylea, God of the Hunt would be good aswell since you're running pretty big creatures so she'll give'em trample. Bow of Nylea could be good for swinging with deathtouch. Try and throw in some Aspect of Hydra since you're running a ton of devotion it woudn't hurt to buff using it aswell.

Thoughtseize and Despise for some hand destruction? Hero's Downfall for Sarkhan and pals

Bile Blight and Drown in Sorrow are good choices to deal with rabble red decks and Mantis Rider . I second the Despise and/or Thoughtseize because control hates losing cards most of all but taking a rider or Siege Rhino from someone will feel pretty good.

Brain Maggot and Fleshbag Marauder can really slow down the opponent. Plus they definitely cards that your opponent may have trouble deciding if they want it to go to the bin or back into your hand.

With such a high white creature count, 2 copies of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can't hurt. I think you may be a little heavy on the black sources with such a small black splash.

Your sideboard should be almost all removal. W/B has the best removal options right now.

I fail to see how Starfield is going to help you at all. Best case scenario you get your siege back a couple times, you don't have enough enchants to turn them into creatures ever. Just seems out of place.

Uhhhhh I've got 12 enchantment creatures. That's where a fair bit of the taxes come from.

No, no, you're alright, in fact, there's a valid dilemma here- If I use Starfield and happen to get five enchantments out, that makes my Eidolon a 3/3 instead of a hearty 1/4 wall, and the Spirit of the Labyrinth a 2/2. Rather anemic, though still stronger on the back-end. By that same token, if I were to use the Starfield instead of, say, Sorin, the other possibility is to make room for 3-4 Grim Guardian. Whatdya think?

I always run 25 lands in this type of deck, but most people will tell you to run 24.

Their argument is that you will be mana flooded mid to late game.

My argument is that you probably want to get Archangel of Tithes out ASAP. With two colours this becomes more difficult. More land will make it easier.

Also, mana flooding mid to late game isn't really a problem if the game is already over.

The theory used to be that 40% of your deck should be land. Lately that's changed a bit to "add one more land than you think you actually need".

You can mostly clearly see this demonstrated by the fact that most players run 17 lands in Limited.

If I were you I would playtest with both 24 and 25 lands and see what is most successful.

I'd strongly recommend filling those last four sideboard slots with Infinite Obliteration. This card is secretly super powerful, while looking really underwhelming. This kills off Elves by calling Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen or Shaman of the Pack, Mono White devotion with Archangel of Tithes, Heliod, God of the Sun, or Kytheon's Irregulars.

It works against decks like Esper Dragons or Control decks by killing off their few, powerful creatures, and it works against tempo or devotion decks to kill off their biggest bombs.

All-in-all, I love this card, and it's always a bomb in the sideboard. Plus, you've got the extra space, and it's cheap. Why not give it a shot?

Argy says... #19

You know what else Infinite Obliteration does?

Let you look at your Opponent's freaking hand AND deck.

They cannot stop YOU searching through their stuff because the card says you can. If they try to, call them on it.

Errast says... #20

I mean, let's be real here. Other than straight up win you the game, what doesn't Infinite Obliteration do? It's a Murder that can EXILE entire playsets of cards, it cripples most of the top tier decks (Elves, Abzan, Artifacts, Control, All the Mono-colour decks, Tempo decks, All the Devotion Decks), and then it lets you look at your opponents library, and hand too? This card is literally my favourite card in standard currently, and it fits in every sideboard if my deck is running black.

August 7, 2015 2:09 a.m.

Argy says... #21

Well, it doesn't cripple my Monothopters deck.

To be fair, though, it's a bad and unique match up.

Blood-Cursed Knight doesn't become a liability when Starfield of Nyx hits the battlefield unlike Master of the Feast. Conversely Grim Guardian goes from being a 1/4 to a 3/3 which is definitely a trade for the better.

TheNinjaJesus says... #24

Valid points... I suppose if I run some Ultimate Price sideboard, I won't have to worry about Stormbreath as much, which is definitely a factor of concern with G/R big stompy dragons being a thing. I think I'll keep the Blood-Cursed Knight in for now.
