Thanks for the idea, I'll consider it. It is a great card but it doesn't flow with the synergy as well as some other cards do or could I think personally.

Murmuring Phantasm will be a nice blocker even as it evolves the little guys up.

I think if you're looking for stall, go with Cyclonic Rift . Also adding a set of Birds of Paradise should speed up the deck, no? It also makes for a nice Bioshift target as well.

I would add a Vorel of the Hull Clade It makes things so much easier.

Any card with Graft, such as Vigean Hydropon would work. Gilder Bairn would be worth considering also.

I see potential with the modern illegal card Phyrexian Altar and Young Wolf when combined with Ooze Flux ... If you're feelin Johnny enough today

Predator Ooze love that guy as a blocker or attacker gets bigger when he attacks and gets bigger if he kills something

Alright, a couple things:
I love Ooze Flux.
Why is Swan Song in this deck?? If you want counters, use something like Mana Leak.
Parallel Lives could find a way in too, because 2 tokens are always better then 1.

Swan Song is in here because it can easily counter horrible things and i can also use it to counter one of my own spells to drop a flying creature into play that evolves all my other creatures and nets me more oozes... Its a complicated mess to explain but it works, especially if Master Biomancer is out

Yo I've really been looking for a budget deck to play, and I REALLY like this a lot. +1!
June 23, 2015 3:25 p.m.
but I don't want my creatures to die. :( Thats an awesome card though and I am making a different deck around that one specifically.

What about Undying creatures like Young Wolf, or Vorapede? Strangleroot Geist is good but the GG may be a problem without mana fixing.

Hey, this is a good looking deck! I actually made a counter deck like this one out of cards I just had in my collection a while back, and I thought it ran pretty good, and then I saw that people were making decks similar to it on this site lol. Just recently though, I've found a one drop in the Dragons of Tarkir set that I think would be good for any counter deck called Servant of the Scale which gives all of its 1/1 counters to any other creature you choose when it dies. When I first saw that card in my brother's collection, I knew I had to trade him for it :D

Is the Meandering Towershell working for you? The rewards with ooze look crazy, especially with a buffed up biomancer. How often does that end up working for you?

Cut some of your non creature spells for creatures and then add collected company. For a less budget version fetch lands are a must for thinning your deck leading to better collected company resolutions. Also noble hierarch is good

Have you thought of running Scute Mob? The counters increase every upkeep, plus with Hardened Scales and Solidarity of Heroes you'll be running amok even faster!

scipionumantia those are good cards but this deck doesnt seem to get land out fast enough to make Scute Mob useful... I do love him though.

Maybe add a bit more mana fixing... Like some Breeding Pools and Misty Rainforests.

Ya... I have an overabundance of green mana and always need more blue for swan song. Ill look into getting Hinterland Harbor because its cheaper
