Its a modern legal deck that is semi budget used to play casually with my friends who don't like most of my other decks... Its also totally capable of standing its own ground in a free for all.
And its not false advertising. It is a deck that relys on the stack. Just so happens that I gimicked the "cks" sound (in english) and made (hopefully) every instance of the "cks" sound the letter "X". Mechanix for example.

Still, Experiment One seems pretty strong here!
Also Bioshift maybe?
Regardless i still appreciate original homebrew ideas,so I'll give you a +1

goblinguiderevealpls I agree that Experiment One has a place in here but what do you think I should remove? I'm leaning towards Thrummingbird. I'd also like to add Greenbelt Rampager, and maybe put Ooze Flux back in somewhere. What are your thoughts on that

tbh i would cut Gyre Sage, for Experiment One i know its thematic and has great potential, but it cost 2 mana and doesnt generate mana next turn if it doesnt get a counter so its too situational, as easy as evolving it may be
greenbelt is bad sadly, a good body but energy counters are player counters and you need to pay them to play it
Bioshift does ooze flux's job for 1 mana, although only once
thrummingbird is decent cuz flying but is kinda slow at 2 mana and no haste, but better than gyre sage
id run Avatar of the Resolute or Scavenging Ooze instead of tbird, and if thats too high power than maybe Servant of the Scale?
personally i play t1 affinity so if it were me id have 4 Arcbound Ravager in a proliferate deck xD
does Burning-Tree Emissary replace gyre sage well enough in your description's combos?
September 20, 2017 7:05 p.m.
goblinguiderevealpls Gyre Sage is 1 part of the engine... it's kind of necessary in the current build. The mana it produces gets exponentially bigger each turn and its not a one off like Burning-Tree Emissary. Experiment One is good but he would not fill the void left by Gyre Sage
I do see the merit of Bioshift more-so now, could be used as a finisher or to get counters off of Renegade Krasis.
Without a powerful enough mana engine to get lots of servos out I don't see Avatar of the Resolute being super strong once he ETB.
And the Idea behind Greenbelt Rampager is not to keep him in play. His real worth is The ability to play him Multiple times. He enters that battlefield for G then his ETB sends him back to my hand because I can't pay the Energy to keep him out. Its a 3/4 body for G that will evolve any creature that hasn't evolved yet and even most that have a few times. Throw a Master Biomancer on the battlefield and its basically ---
"Pay G: Evolve all creatures with Evolve and Trigger Renegade Krasis"

thats actually a really good combo that i seem to have missed
ok then i agree with thrummingbird,
maybe cut plaxcaster frogling? its main purpose is to shift counters onto creatures that dont benefit from it
which isnt bad but that niche part in your game plan and its situational activated ability seem more at home in sideboard
so like -4 thrummingbird -4 plaxcaster frogling
+3 experiment one +3 greenbelt rampager +2 bioshift
+2-3 froglings sideboard
how does that sound
September 20, 2017 7:32 p.m. Edited.
goblinguiderevealpls that sounds like a good idea. I honestly only really had the plaxcaster in there because of one person I play with sometimes... He loves his removal spells...
Thanks for the tips! I'll have to buy the Experiment and the Greenbelt so I'll update the deck once I get those.
September 20, 2017 8:53 p.m.
goblinguiderevealpls just thought of switching out 4x Temple of Mystery for 4xAether Hub so I have an outlet for energy counters. That would make it so I can play Greenbelt Rampager more than 3 times. Swapping out 2 of each basic is also a possibility hmmm....
I'd miss the scry but what do you think?

what a work of art! I applaud you, my good man!

thanks The7thBobba!
This deck has consumed my mind for a very long time haha. It gets really tough to keep track of every single thing that happens when you get it working. It is a very fun deck though.

Nice brew!
Dunno if its maybe a bit to expensive for a budged build, but Intruder Alarm fits perfectly into your deck!
October 13, 2017 10:39 p.m.
Thorbogl thanks! ya this deck was originally started as a budget deck back when the main focus was around Ooze Flux. It's kind of evolved since then. I'll probably remove the budget from it because ya... its not so cheap anymore. But it once was a $30 deck in its original glory!
Intruder Alarm was once in the running for this deck but it didnt give me much of a lead or speed things up too much. Having 15 20/20 servos is just as hard to block as having 30 20/20 servos so it ended up being more of a "win more" card or a "win with flare" card rather than an "oil the machine" card.

Zameck might be okay...but first, you need to establish that Biomancer is truly not the best option. The answer to that is playtesting! If you consistently get trashed the turn you cast Biomancer, and you're able to scrape out Ws with Zameck, then switch. If Zameck doesn't give you enough power, then stay with Biomancer.

This is easily the coolest and most original deck ive seen in weeks. Have you tested it against the tiered field yet?
December 12, 2017 3:34 p.m.
@Twanicus Thank you for the support! This deck has been tons of fun making. I enjoy brewing up new ideas and don't usually build according to formats, but the play group I play with wanted me to follow some rules so they asked me to build a modern deck. This is my first real attempt at making a modern deck and I really did NOT want to be some mindless sheep who just builds the deck they are told is the strongest!
The deck originally started out with Ooze Flux as its center piece, but has obviously moved away from that. I don't get to go to any kind of formal tournaments ever sadly... so I don't have any way of testing it against the tiered field. I do know that it does fairly well against my play group. The play group consists of 4-5 people usually and each person definitely has their favorite archetype haha. It's done well against a burn/Deflecting Palm deck, a Mass Polymorph from 1/1 Goblin to dragons deck, and a heavy counter/removal black/blue deck.
My favorite reaction to this deck so far is by far that no one comprehends exactly what is going on until all the pieces are in play. And even then it takes a long time to even explain why all the things that are happening are haha. Its confusing nature is one of it's best defenses! The best moment for this deck, is the group collectively looked at each other, then my board state and asked, "Well... can anyone do anything?"

Wow really cool build! Would Cavern of Souls be useful? +1
February 6, 2018 11:34 a.m.
@Jimmy_Chinchila it would be useful only if it could some how protect my servo's. I don't have enough of any one kind of creature type to make it worth the investment monetarily. It also would only provide colored mana for a very small portion of the deck. While color mana is not needed after ramping the deck up it is required to start the engine and I can't afford to draw too many colorless mana producers at the start. Thank you for the +1 and the input though! It's a fun deck that I really enjoy "evolving"... haha
February 6, 2018 11:55 a.m.
Adamconda she is a very good card. I've considered adding her but the main problems I run into are
1: she costs 4 cmc to get out which really slows down the deck since a lot of its defensive capabilities require me to save some mana or the mana is better spent on getting 1/1 Servo tokens.
2: With the new Accelerated build of the deck it is much faster but the creatures don't get much bigger than 3/3's a lot of the time unless I draw the perfect hand. Only getting up to a 3/3 means she will only evolve twice which is not so great for 4 mana.
I understand that Thrummingbird will let me draw TONS of cards with her out but in this new build I tried to make each card less dependent on other cards to be effective.
I have considered her mana times :L. She is the perfect draw mechanic for this deck. I just need to find a way to add her that doesn't slow down the deck too much. Any suggestions?

i see, hmm idk if it's very good, but you can include Utopia Sprawl and an Arbor Elf but that'll add too many cards, Kiora's Follower might be the trick since it can hit anything?

Ah so its false advertising and casual
I see
