SUMMARY

I have always enjoyed playing Mill decks, its a fun alternative way of winning the game. But naturally, when you have 100 cards to mill and multiple players, the task becomes daunting; Enter Phenax, God of Deception! he turns big booty creatures into mill machines. Load a deck full of walls, counters and kill spells and bask in all the groans from the table as you become friendless.

This deck list is also budget friendly. Breaking into this format is tough, and no one like to play with a pre-constructed deck. This deck will help new players get a feel for the format while giving them enough tools to be competative. And soon they will turn into the fun police.

Dont forget about the infinite combo, Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank . Even if the opponent has eldrazi titan in their deck they will lose infinite life.

HOW TO PLAY THE DECK

This is one of the more unusual decks in the sense that you dont want to get your commander out right away. Its better to build a board pressence and keep a hand full of NOPE before you play Phenax.

Your turns will be short. During the end step of your opponent's turn (however the rotation falls) you will tap all your creatures to mill the most dangerous opponents deck. With a decent board presence you will mill 20+ cards a turn. You will play your sorceries during your turn, no way around that. But space them out because you want to keep the majority of your mana untap for counters. You control the game through all the counters and bounce spells.

This is a slow deck, you're in it for the long haul. Be patient and you will come out on top.
