My take on the current fad of wall mill decks that have been going around since Phenax, God of Deception was spoiled.

Axebane Guardian guardian gives fantastic mana fixing in a deck like this, just too good not to use in a defender deck, imo. Especially when you have Mind Grind as a mana sink.

It's something I want to try out, and I have most of the cards already, so I plan to as soon as I can get a hold of a few Phenax's.

I feel like the sideboard is a bit hard to put together without knowing how the meta will change, but Cyclonic Rift Crypt Incursion Hero's Downfall and Golgari Charm make it pretty diverse and will help overcome most obstacles that I can foresee the deck running into.
