Why do you keep your Ice in a Jar? (HELP NEEDED)

Do you like Thing in the Ice  , but can't afford Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  . Well I introduce to YOU, Thing in a Jar CONTROL.

This is my build on a Brain in a Jar + Thing in the Ice combo. This deck utilizes Brain in a Jar to pump out many spells in order to transform Thing in the Ice   as soon as possible.

This deck has a second win condition other than Thing in the Ice  , which is Rise from the Tides. With all the spells we are casting each turn due Brain in a Jar, by the time we cast Rise from the Tides, the opponent is going to have some trouble. The only down side to this card is that they enter tapped, and at sorcery speed, but thanks to Brain in a Jar, they can come out on an opponents turn.

This deck runs a control shell to keep us alive while we are trying to get out our win conditions. The card that I like the most is for control Engulf the Shore . This card is amazing, and is the reason that we are running so many islands. It's good on turn four and any turn onward because of all the lands.

I'll now get to explaining all of the card choices below. Please, Please, Please give me ADVICE and HELP on this deck. Thanks so much. Card choices:

-----Land-----

25x Island - This is so many islands, which is not a bad thing in this case. It helps us hit almost all of our land drops, and has amazing synergy with Engulf the Shore .

-----Creatures--------

4x Thing in the Ice   - One of the best potential cards in the format in my opinion. Amazing synergy with all the spells we are playing thanks to Brain in a Jar. Also a board wipe, and incredible threat. Primary win condition.

-----1-Drop-----

1x Dispel - Have one copy to protect Thing in the Ice   from and kill decks. Also helps against control decks.

-----2-Drop-----

4x Brain in a Jar - Helps us cast all of our cards to finish opponent off with Thing in the Ice.

3x Send to Sleep - Great synergy with this deck. Helps our matchup against aggro decks, great with instants/sorceries in graveyard, which is easy thanks to Brain in a Jar and all the spells we are running.

3x Just the Wind - Good synergy with Artificer's Epiphany. Good at slowing aggro deck down as well.

2x Negate - Just another counter spell against people that are trying to kill out Thing in the Ice  .

-----3-Drop----

3x Pieces of the Puzzle - Great at putting things in our graveyard for Rise from the Tides and spell mastery.

3x Artificer's Epiphany - Great with Brain in a Jar, so we get to draw two without discarding. If we have Just the Wind , we can cast it for its cheap mana cost.

3x Grip of the Roil - Good for controlling opponent and card draw is fun also.

-----4-Drop-----

4x Engulf the Shore - Best board wipe possible for this deck. Has great synergy with all the islands we run.

-----5-Drop-----

2x Confirm Suspicions - Just to fill out the 5 CMC slot on this deck. Investigate is great.

-----6-Drop-----

3x Rise from the Tides - Secondary finisher. At sorcery speed, but with Brain in a Jar, it is an amazing card.
