What was the first thing you noticed when you looked at this deck? You probably noticed that the featured card (the deck's profile picture) did not match the commander, which is Child of Alara. Why would anyone run Child when they know that they are going to be targeted out of the wazoo? The deck has nothing to do with Child, other than a reusable board wipe. The main focus on this deck is the lands, more specifically Maze's End and the Guildgates. How do you run an EDH deck with the main goal winning with Maze's End? You play politically. This deck boasts some new and old friends coming from the Commander 16 decks. These include Kynalos and tiro of meletis, Ludevic, Necro-Alechemist, and Zedruu the Greathearted. You also play by sheltering yourself and becoming a wimp with cards as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and reverance. You kinda get the picture.

You may notice that there is a lack of Crucible of Worlds. I know that, i'm just trying to keep my decks low in cost, and I have plenty of replacements.
