Not at all, lilly is amazing. The discard works well, and if you ult her it just screws an opponent over. Lilly is very, very threatening, and is almost always a great addition to a deck.

I don't think you need the Phyrexian Obliterator s truthfully. In a deck with so much counter and removal, you'll probably kill them with the snapcasters. All the cool additions I keep thinking of to replace them are uber expensive though... Vendilion Clique , Thoughtseize , Dark Confidant . Personally I would aim for instant speed card draw, like more Think Twice . Remand would be good in here (especially alongside more hand removal). Cremate might even be alright, if graveyard love is in your meta. Of course, more Lillys are fun.

Yeah getting any of those would be great :) thanks for the feedback! I've been thinking of taking out obliterator.

Most definitely, but it is a lot cheaper money-wise. Also for control arena works better because hi costs, and the fact that it costs one more doesn't hurt that much. But overall, confidant is better.

black blue control. one of my favorite archetypes. I like the deck and your removal/counter suite, but I dont know how I feel about the actual number of win cons. Creeping Tar Pit is good and so is Grave Titan but if they are dealt with then you are left with Snapcaster Mage . He can get the beats in but I dont feel he has enough reach to effectively finish the job. This type of deck used to have Jace, the Mind Sculptor for a win con which allowed room for more answers for stuff but we dont have that luxary in modern. I feel that you should have a little more threats at your disposal. A turn 1 Thoughtseize against you hitting the titan followed by a Surgical Extraction can severly cripple your chances of winning. Im not suggesting to take the titan out, but just give yourself a little more option. Maybe Frost Titan Abyssal Persecutor AEtherling or Jace, Memory Adept or what would be even more stylish Griselbrand . Cool deck though and this is all imo. good luck!

Thanks! If you like feel free to +1! I would run Surgical Extraction but my friend plays reanimate, and it wouldn't really be fun for him haha. AEtherling could work, i'll think about adding him. Thanks for the feedback!

Totally would recommend Creeping Tar Pit as a 4 of, it's a complete alternate win con and can save your ass in a lot of situations.

I do agree it has to be hit but the fact that it comes in tapped turns me off to having 4. I could see three though, i'll think about adding that. Thanks for the feedback! If you like, feel free to +1

i would replace Sunken Ruins with Darkslick Shores . i think that Duress will be better than Distress since Duress doesn't require 2 black mana.

Why isn't the card with the deck's title as its flavor text in the deck?

I feel like phyrexian arena is better than bob in control

Then why the hell did you title it "Greatness, at any cost"?

That's Snapcaster Mage and, to the best of my knowledge, he was modeled after a Chinese player whose name I don't know who won Worlds or something.

It was in here originally, but I replaced it with Distress . I have a lot of the cards in here so I don't want it to be crazy expensive.
