Awesome list. I'm currently trying to make my own. and forgot to look at others lists on here before buying! Oops!

Have you thought about Pentavus ? Also i'm thinking of trying Tetravus. too doing a similar thing but only at end of turn.

Crop Rotation to find any specific land and sacs.

Animation Module How has the testing for that been going?

Have you given consideration to Ulvenwald Mysteries ? So for every non token creature that dies you'll get a clue. so you get a (2) sac clue draw a card. When you sacrifice the clue you get a 1/1. I haven't had a chance to play but

Also Mindless Automaton Could be more card draw dependent on how many counters you're getting with Mazirek. Crystalline Crawler is of the similar route but for mana.

Eldrazi Monument ?

Ordeal of Nylea i think is also super interesting. providing +1/+1 counters, a sacrifice and ramp. Attrition Golgari Germination

Swarmyard

Airdraken - I have thought of Pentavus. Didn't make the list the first time around, but could be something to test if I feel like something isn't as strong as I want it to be. Crop Rotation is just a card I forgot about, probably will find its way in here. Haven't had enough time to test Animation Module yet, so stay tuned. As for Ulvenwald Mysteries and any other card with the text "nontoken creature", I feel like I don't get enough value off of it. I feel like I sacrifice tokens too often to get enough value off of those cards to run them in the list. Mindless Automaton isn't bad per se, but I feel like this list has enough effects to keep the hand full or generate pseudo-card advantage. Crystalline Crawler could be a solid include to some lists, but I haven't really felt the need for further fixing. Eldrazi Monument is definitely a solid card, so maybe it's worth a slot. I'll have to see if I can fit it. Ordeal of Nylea feels too weak for me. I think there are other cards that are more significant that I would like to run before that. Attrition is a solid removal option, but I think I may try Retribution of the Ancients before Attrition. Swarmyard is a good add-in for later, but at the time I felt like the ~$10 could be better spent on other cards.

Cheers for the response. I'm going to play around with some of the cards i mentioned. Crystalline is more for go off combos with sac outlets. say you have a free sac outlet. you can sac a token. get 1 mana through crystaline crawler. Create a pentavite say with 1 mana. and repeat.

There are alot of cards that can fit into this kinda deck. i started to go down a primarily insect route and steering away from that now. It's very hard competition for slots in this kind of deck.

Airdraken - That has been exactly my problem. There are a ton of good cards for the list, so picking the proper 99 is a real challenge. This list is slightly out of date because of some recent additions I picked up through trading with friends I don't see often while at college, so I will be updating that probably in the coming week. I picked up a Life from the Loam, The Gitrog Monster, and a Liliana, Death's Majesty. Because of Life from the Loam I want to look into adding in Zuran Orb and Sylvan Safekeeper.

At what point do you consider Crucible of Worlds for your land sac outlets? it starts to turn into a different kinda deck i feel at this point :P

Airdraken - Oh it's been considered I just don't see myself affording one right now. I'd love one.

Well a plausible alternative to the Crucible will be the new card in the upcoming set Ramunap Excavator. Same thing, but as a creature.

Xynarth - I saw him and immediately thought that I want a copy in here so long as it's affordable. It means I may want some cards to allow me to play more lands each turn (Exploration for example). I was really happy with what Amonkhet brought to the table and am very excited to see what Hour brings as well.

I'm expecting $20 minimum. We'll have to cross our fingers and hope otherwise!

And I agree that letting yourself play more lands wouldn't be a bad thing. Maybe cards like Sylvan Scrying, Traverse the Ulvenwald, Expedition Map are interesting examples for you to get into your non-basics. Skyshroud Claim and Nature's Lore allow you to fetch into shock lands or Amonkhet's cycle lands.

Just ideas :)

Xynarth - I'm not so sure he will hit that kind of price tag. Because he will be currently being printed, access is a lot easier than Crucible of Worlds on top of the fact that a creature is much easier to remove. I have a feeling it will be similar to the price gap between Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon. As for the cards suggested for lands, they are all great ramp options, but I specifically meant effects allowing me to play more than one land per turn (Oracle of Mul Daya, etc.) because this makes my fetchlands insanely valuable if I can replay them from the graveyard more than once per turn to continually pump my team as well as increase my mana output very quickly.

Perhaps the Blood Moon example was a poor one. I forgot that Magus of the Moon carried a huge price tag as well. But there have definitely been instances where creatures have been printed with identical effects to an artifact/enchantment but did not come close to the same price tag. I just can't think of any of the examples right now, it's too early in the morning to think.

chadsansing - I originally ran Corpsejack Menace but ultimately ended up cutting him because he has a cheaper alternative in Winding Constrictor and I found that I had a need for other effects in the deck as well. Certainly not a bad include though. Primal Growth is a good idea, I will look into trying that out. I also have never run High Market but it's worth a look. Thanks for the ideas!

Why does Eradicator Valkyrie make the cut but Rankle, Master of Pranks doesn't?

DankMagicianD - Yeah, good point. Forgot about Rankle. The 4 and 5 drop slots are always in high contention so I probably didn't add him when he released and then just forgot about him later.
