Introduction

So my buddies and I are buying a precon each, I picked last and got Golgari. Now I'm not complaining I am a massive fan of Golgari, but I fell in love with Willowdusk.

Now I ain't no weakling so, there may be some lifegain (Particularly to save us from suicide), but this deck is haaaaaarddd leaning into the life-loss.

Strategy

Willowdusk does make some big boys so whether through unlockable or just regular swings, we are going to make a big impact.

Lastly, we need to keep our life up a bit cause we are sacrificing it so much so there are quite a few lifegain spells as well, due to their symmetrical synergy with Willowdusk.

P.S. the cards mentioned here might not be in the final list, but the message is the same. Furthermore, I am a massive fan of peculiar old cards and random jank so some of these cards (eg. Grinning Demon, are utter garbage but I'm still playing them cause I think they are cool. Hope you love this commander as much as I do and gain something from my deck list.

Notes and Assorted Details

Here is my legend for what my custom tags mean: - Lands= Lands (Crazy ikr) - Beatstick= creatures that either are or have the potential to be good targets for Willowdusk's counters.

• Single= target removal, (alot of it in this deck hurts us or isn't as broad so you might want to change it).

• Ramp= Ramp, (cards that let us access more mana than previously possible).

• Protection= cards that make my board, spells or lifetotal harder to interact with.

• Wrath= boardwipes,(be meta-specific, add artifact/enchantment/etc. hate; what you think fits your playgroup).

• Suicide= cards that solely serve the purpose of draining us (other ones overlap with draw and other effects).

• Draw= More cards in our hand (For the purpose of simplicity I'm not dealing with card advantage/tokens/etc.)

• Lifegain= Increases lifetotal, (overlaps ALOT as well) synergizes with the other build of Willowdusk

• Commander= I really feel like you should know
