This deck is a part of a collaborative concept with user Balaam__, where we both are building around the card Willow Priestess.

My intention is to use Sultai () colors for really curious reasons.

Ramp

I chose this dork over others because I wanted to lean into older art representations for the theme!

having a dork on two can be crucial to nailing having the Willow Priestess come out as early as possible.

much like other colored spells on this list, I'm attempting to get hellacious value out of each instance.

in this case I'm getting a great amount of value, where we could really see Willow Priestess hit the field WAY ahead of schedule

this isn't as valuable as Fastbond but provides a very similar utility.

in this instance I'm attempting to be proactive about removal, where I'm refilling my hand anytime y'all decide to be mean.

Counters

on theme counter that can terminally remove a pesky spell

again on theme and counter with a body attached go BRRRRR

On a personal note I also happen to like the Adventure mechanic.

Beater

there's a sneaky benefit here.

when you use Willow Priestess to cast out the Titan, you can immediately Champion the Priestess to protect it.

If your Changeling Titan happens to get beefed, it'll immediately bring your Priestess back.

Game-Ender

so the benefit of this card is that you don't necessarily have to crack the cost for Prowl.

netting the bodies is great and when you have Fyndhorn Elves or any way to pump the extra cost, I forsee being able to cast this reliably between 4-5.

So I guess I went for a weird sneaky-deaky-like deck

My construction is influenced by another deck that user Balaam__ has made called: Altar of Despair

in that build he incorporates a really strong synergy with Knights by using the Changeling ability

in my case, I'm trying to do a similar thing based on how that ability interacts with Willow Priestess.

  1. Cast Fyndhorn Elves for ramp.

  2. Cast Cloud of Faeries for value and then cast other ramp pieces in order to bring out Willow Priestess.

  3. When you secure Willow Priestess on the field, play into one of your win cons:

  4. Changeling Titan

  5. Notorious Throng
