ok, i've changed my deck. i think i'll go with something like this, a jund aggro that makes use of discarding cards for Noose Constrictor, Flameblade Adept, hazoret, casting honored hydra for 2 less mana (embalm), etc. can be a one time discard for immediate value to finish the game, or can use shadow of the grave for more continuous value. i only own two shadows, but i'll probably pick up another one sometime.

You don't really need the mana ramp because you have very few 5 or higher drops and so they should be cut in favor of more Noose Constrictor and Shadow of the Grave. The Cartouches are just not playable and shold also come out. Here is my take on that theme.

I think that in order to make this deck more competitive/consistent you should cut down the CMC and increase speed.

The best example that I have seen of the Noose Constrictor combo is this deck:

If you don't want to simply copy that deck then-

I suggest cutting:

All your ramp: Channeler Initiate and Naga Vitalist. Your deck is focused on being aggressive and these card not only slow you down but they don't even help you out that much IMHO.

Cartouche of Strength: it is expensive at and slow.

Injury + Insult : it doesn't do anything here IMHO.

I suggest adding:

3-4xFiery Temper: great synergy with discard outlets and cheap Madness burn.

1xNoose Constrictor: it is the main card in this deck and should be a 4-of.

1xHonored Hydra: same as above.

2xShadow of the Grave: same as above.

I have a question for all of you; is Lupine Prototype Worth adding, and if so, what should I cut?

emrakulinsmugglers: Lupine Prototype could be good in your deck but I think there are smoother versions of the theme/combo you are going for. Personally, I think Lupine Prototype is going to be SICK in some Fling deck.

Some questions for you all:

1. is Shadow of the Grave really worth keeping in deck, or is some other card better to add?

2. should this deck stay on it's current track, or would shifting towards more minotaurs Neheb, the Worthy be better?

3. is Fatal Push better as a 3 of, or would it be better if i just added another hazoret? (cut fatal push for hazoret?) basically, is hazoret fine as a 2 of?

Okay, two things. First, I think that Insult / Injury is a little two slow in this deck in the main board, I might throw 2x Lightning Axe's or 2 creatures like another Noose Constrictor or Hazoret the Fervent.

stewa238 don't get me wrong, your advice is good, if i could i would probably go up to 3 or even 4 of hazoret. the only issue is my budget. currently, my maybeboard (the list of stuff i need to purchase, i use maybeboard so everyone can see it) is currently around 30 or so dollars, and my total budget is 40. i'd like to be able to spend less dollars, which is why i left hazoret at 2.

you're right about Insult / Injury, i'll be putting in lightning axes. i only put in 3 noose constrictor, because i cycle through my deck enough with tormenting voice and cathartic reunion, and always get at least one per game. also, it's not my only discard outlet, and i don't always need to dump my hand immediately, i can usually just play every card and be empty handed.

should i put in 2 lightning axe, or 1 noose constrictor and 1 hazoret?

It looks like you did both, but if you had to choose I would go with the Lightning Axe for mardu vehicles if for nothing else.
