Alternative win conditions...
Well...erm...where shall I start?
Basically, this is an Alternative win condition deck. I have the Biovisionary and the Azor's Elocutors for the magic.
I have spells such as Clone to duplicate the Biovisionary to give many copies. I only need 4 to win, but some may perish at the hands of a Doom Blade and so forth.
Azor's Elocutors, on the other hand, offer some laughs. It only needs 5 counters for me to win. I can give it hexproof to prevent targeting from creature destruction. Proliferate would be very nice in this deck, but it is no longer in the Standard format. Although, Vorel of the Hull Clade does the job instead. An issue with Azor's Elocutors is that it is easy for someone to deal damage to me. I have creatures with high defence,
Sigiled Starfish
and Sylvan Caryatid, to prevent the non-fliers from hitting me and buy me some extra time I need. However, if the opponent attacks with a flier then I might be in trouble. I do have Clone to copy Biovisionary, but it can copy the opponent's creatures.
Polymorphous Rush
is one of my favourite cards in Journey and I aim to win in my opponent's turn by copying Biovisionary.
I am very excited to have a deck like this and cannot wait to play this against someone. It playtests very well and I just hope it does the same in an actual game.
