just my current windgrace list ill try and keep an updated changelog as i go through, maybeboard will be reserved for new/upcoming cards and will be edited as i test them after their release

out: Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre Dakmor Salvage

in: Verdant Catacombs Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle

just taking out the "bricks" for the gitrog combo because frankly after shifting the deck to windgrace and aiming more casual the combo is a harder wincon to pull off than MLD+windgrace/heroic or big mana x spells. dakmor might make its way back into the list as a very nice value piece. I've also taken note of the current land count(48 I believe as of writing this changelog) and noticed thats too high vs the number of land payoffs so we're going to be looking at cutting down the land count to around 39-42 range to fit more payoffs. shouldnt be long before the next set of changes as my preorder for the MID cards and some other goodies should be here in about a week or so. overall I'm fairly satisfied with how the deck is performing and after I get more payoffs in the deck I'm going to turn my attention towards the interaction suite.

out: Cinder Glade, Smoldering Marsh, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Exsanguinate, Leyline of the Void,Rampant Growth, 3xForest

in: Haunted Ridge, Rockfall Vale, Augur of Autumn, Oracle of Mul Daya, Nissa of Shadowed Boughs, Tireless Provisioner, Wrenn and Seven, Bedevil, Faithless Looting

swapping cinder glad and smoldering marsh with the new MID land cycle is mostly a test to see whether the land types matter more or the frequency of being untapped since we have a lot non basics, if after testing I find the land typing matters those two will probably come back in the spots of weaker utility lands(ive got my eye on Treasure Vault). Speaking of lands we cut 3 forests here to help reduce how bricky hands can get with almost half our deck being lands we needed more room for payoffs going from a land count of 48 to 45 feels pretty good in my head might still cut 1 or 2 more for some other payoffs like ob nixilis or nesting dragon but we'll see. exsanguinate cut because frankly its too weak unless being cast at game ending mana where torment is far more flexible and MLD might become our primary non combat wincon soon.

out: Expedition Map, Treasure Vault, Nissa, Vastwood Seer  , Animate Dead

in: Jokulhaups, Three Visits, misty rainforect, Scalding Tarn

So far the MID lands have done me good coming in untapped slightly more often than the bfz duals so the third one coming in VOW will be a no brainer addition. Animate dead is the only cut here I feel really hurts but a 1 of far easier to deal with reanimate effect just wasn't cutting it, if I feel the need to get more recursion in the deck for creatures ill be looking to add cards like dread return, bala ged recovery(?), or victimize. almost finishing out my fetches is very important and flip nissa and expedition map both felt too slow imo and adding more early ramp with three visits is huge. Treasure Vault I found I was never activating its treasure making ability so it was an easy cut, replacing it with another fetch is great. Jokulhaups makes its appearance finally it will be part of the redundancy on one of our win conditions of MLD we now have 2/3 just need the decree of annihilation now. very low impact changes this time around.

Looking forward in our next set of tuning we have a new dual to pick up with crimson vow and then landfall ob nix and nesting dragon, VOW doesnt seem to have any great fitting additions to the strategy tbqh. we might look into running more recursion or reanimation effects soon as well as another non mld board wipe to accompany our blasphemous act, toxic deluge is likely on the menu here. After more games at my locals Sylvan Safekeeper has also popped up on my radar as its protection against spot removal has been made apparent that it's very valuable.

All in all we're reaching the end of more regular updates here, we only have a few more lands matter cards to add to the collection left and I believe 2 more fetches so barring bling upgrades or reserved list cards this deck is close to what I'd consider "finished" and just hit the maintenance stage. my next big project when that happens will likely be one of my dimir decks, very likely to be my Gisa and Geralf zombie tribal deck so if you are someone regularly looking at this deck list ill put a link to the live list for that deck when we hit maintenance here.

in: Deathcap Glade

out: Forest x1

no big update, just like the new innistrad lands so far in testing, if leaks are correct we should see big changes in neon dynasty.

in: Dismember, Beast Within

out: Putrefy, Nature's Claim

more tweaks to removal part of this is because the secret lair came in and I wanted to use the cards but its also partly due to the fact I find myself needing this specific removal in my meta less and less lately tbqh, plus dismember hits a lot of powerful commanders surprisingly. next update should be in a weak or so when I get my kamigawa lands, the set didnt seem to have too much else for this deck but those lands look extremely good.

In: Boseiju, Who Endures, Takenuma, Abandoned Mire, Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance

Out: 1x each of Forest, Mountain, and Swamp

pretty self explanatory, these are strict upgrades to basics outside of nonbasic land hate like blood moon or back to basics and with our mana base we arent losing much harder with this change to those cards and exchange getting a big upside especially since if we draw it and have 1 green source boseiju can out most of those cards anyway

in: Havengul Laboratory

out: 1x Mountain

managed to get my hands on one locally finally
