FNM Update —May 16, 2014
The deck is now much more consistent after lowering the curve and adding a few key cards so a big thank you to everyone who commented and helped make the deck better!
The first FNM with the wolves was a lot of fun and the deck did very well (3-1-1) with wins against Goblins, Green Devotion and Hate Bears, but never had to face Pod, Twin, or U/W/R control. I think the sideboard can deal with them, but won't know until I try. Please help me make wolves a real deck in modern with your suggestions and votes!
Hi Minelia5,That is a great card and I had him in the early testing phase but I found it hard to consistently flip him. This in turn lead me to other cards to flip him and took me further from my core idea. It might be worth it with Moonmist however, as that saves my wolves and let's them attack fearlessly. What would you remove to make room? I would really rather it be mono green but I'm open to werewolves.

It's a good beginners and casual deck, but will never be competitive imo. I would take out things like Wren's Run Packmaster , as you don't run many elves. If it was my deck, I'd splash red for things like Huntmaster of the Fells Flip , but it does make the deck quite a bit more expensive then.
If you want to get into competitive play, I can help you if you like. :)

Hi nayaftw,
I realize it isn't an optimum build for competition, but it does ok. Everybody at the card shop wants me to add Huntmaster of the Fells Flip as well, so you aren't alone there. I just don't want to go down the Red / Green path yet. As far as Wren's Run Packmaster I have my doubts as well, but it does seem to find targets in the majority of games, between the 4 Elvish Mystic and the 4 Bramblewood Paragon .
It is possible that adding the Mayor of Avabruck Flip and Huntmaster of the Fells Flip along with Moonmist and ditching some of the lesser creatures and enchantments would make it a much stronger deck tho. Thanks for the suggestions. :)

If you don't want to go R/G, then don't. You probably have your own reasons for doing it, and the rule is never to do something just because some other people say that it's good. Part of becoming a good player is learning for yourself imo.
The mayor and Moonmist would make the deck stronger, you run too many high cost spells for this to be an aggro deck, and that's what it's trying to be. I'd cut some of those, and sort out your mana curve.

Right on. If everybody made the same decks it would get boring. :)

Have you thought about using Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx at all? Seems like you should be able to generate a decent amount of devotion with the mono green setup. Something like Bow of Nylea might also be useful to give all of your wolf tokens death touch. All in all it looks like a pretty fun and flavorful deck! +1

Hi kmcree!
I have wondered about Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and want to test it for sure. That was one thing among others that was keeping me from going red green and adding Immerwolf and / or Huntmaster of the Fells Flip even tho I have a playset of Rootbound Crag and Stomping Ground .
Hadn't thought about the bow tho... That might let me dump the Packmaster altogether. Thanks for the suggestion!

Made the deck faster and added several cards including Bow of Nylea ,Mayor of Avabruck Flip , and Moonmist . Cut down the enchantments and I think the curve is getting better. Also experimenting with Wolfbriar Elemental .
I will update the description again after I test. Thanks guys. Any more suggestions looking at this list?

Testing Wolfbriar Elemental vs. Rancor and having a hard time deciding which to keep in the deck. Rancor gives trample which is very nice, but the elemental can be a late game token machine. Any thoughts?

Out of curiosity, are you okay with werewolves in your deck like Mayor of Avabruck Flip ? He is only one werewolf that would be a great addition to your deck!
