Landfall deck using Winter. His first ability plays like a group hug effect, while his second is an oppressive “no-fun” effect. I decided the best way to get good value out of his abilities while still keeping my friends was to make a deck that would go fast and struggle with card draw. That way, Winter keeps me in the game and my opponents will want to be rid of my other threats more than they would want to be rid of Winter. Hence, landfall. Just play magic and the deck rewards you for doing basic things. It’s kinda like the spoiled kid whose parents would praise them and buy them gifts for doing the bare minimum. With that said, the goal of the deck is for everyone at the table to have fun. The group hug effects keep people with a slow start in the game and the rare times when the deck gets oppressive keep the players with more development in check.

There is an infinite combo in the deck but it is one heck of a Rube-Goldberg-Machine. Start with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild + Mass Hysteria + Spelunking on the battlefield. Then you’ll also need Ancient Greenwarden in play too. Lastly, have enough mana to play Walking Atlas or any of the similar creatures. Then once you have that creature in play, play a Gruul Turf or one of the other ones that does that. When the land enters, it triggers its own bounce ability, however ancient Greenwarden will make you do it again. This is a bit of a miss normally, but thanks to Spelunking, it come in untapped, so just tap it for mana in response. Then bounce that land and your Walking Atlas to your hand since Ashaya makes Walking Atlas a forest. With your two mana, replay the Walking Atlas, then tap it (Mass Hysteria gives haste) to put Gruul Turf back into play. Repeat the process for infinite landfall.
