-"Sire! Sire!" Shrieked the soldier, as he ran up the stairs to Sunhome. The Wojek Halberdiers who stood guard by the front gate, stepped forward to stop the panicked man. -"Calm Down! What's happened?" One of them demanded to know. The young soldier fought to catch his breath. -"The Rakdos... They... They're coming to... retrieve... what we took from them." The soldier explained. The Halberdiers frowned, shared a quick glanced, and then waved the soldier over. -"Open the gate!" they called out. It was clear that the demons were after their Razortip Whip, wich had been confiscated by the Boros, on a raid, not too long ago. The young soldier darted through the barely open gate, as the Halberdiers readied themselves for the upcoming onslaught. The soldier stormed on, searching for his leader, finally, he came upon him; Tajic, Blade of the Legion -"Sire! The Rakdos is attacking!" the soldier cried. Tajic turned and look at him with a mixture of worry and sternness. -"How far have they come?" he asked. The soldier explained where he had last seen them. -"Then so be it. Go to Aurelia, the Warleader and tell her that I will Assemble the Legion, and also, tell her to bring her Skyknight Legionnaire's. We need all men we can spare." Tajic demanded. -"You!" he added and pointed to a group of Akroan Hoplite. -"Run to the gates, help them to stave off the beasts, whilst I go and get that damned whip!" he ordered. -"But sir!" the Champion of the Parish, whom he had been in conversation with when the terrible news came in, said. -"What do you plan to do? I highly doubt that they will just take their belonging peacefully and leave..." the started. Tajic lifted a hand. -"Worry not, I have not lost my mind. They will have to pry it from our dead, cold hands. But it can be used to our benefit." he stated, and as he ran off, towards the holding cells he added: -"With evil, thou shall vanquish evil! Now! FORWARD MEN!"
This is my Boros deck, and frankly my best deck. I don't know if that says a whole lot about me, but... I like it. A perfect start, for me, is: Turn 1:
Champion of the ParishTurn 2: Akroan Hoplite or Wojeck Halberdier: - Truefire Paladin wouldn't be bad either. Turn 3: Skyknight Legionnaire Turn 4: Tajic, Blade of the Legion - Or one of the drop artifacts with equip cost. Turn 5:Assemble the Legion And then anything goes really. The playing style depends a lot on the opponents deck, and what he does.
