Just curious because I didn't see it in the comments... but if you use Moonlight Hunt with creatures that have trample, does their remaining damage after lethal trample over? Or does that only happen in actual combat?

Well, it deals damage equal to its power to that creature. It's not going after a human or planes walker, so it's just doing its damage to the creature.
Okay, think that someone's going after the King of England (which is perfect because it's not a role being filled). They attack him, but a bunch of guards get in the way, so damage would trample over to the king (lol). Now let's say in a totally different situation the wine servant Claud is walking home at night in the moonlight and he's a massive douche people hate. That night Claud is in a back alley and people "cast moonlight hunt" on him and then they would "assign their damage" to him and he dies. That does not trample over to the King.

This deck makes me want to play RG for the first time ever and take the Arlin and Abbey I pulled from a box off the trading table. +1 up vote

Well maybe I chose the wrong words, but it's just a bit nicer if you do link them. Not that it matters too much.

Great deck +1
Very similar to what I'm building! One question though, have you considered using Pyromancer's Goggles for extra boosting fun?

No love for Geier Reach Bandit Flip and/or Duskwatch Recruiter Flip??
They seem to be the most popular wolven out there right now...

I'd rather have Lambholt Pacifist Flip than a Duskwatch Recruiter Flip, and on turn three I really need to be dropping a Silverfur Partisan than a Geier Reach Bandit Flip.

New to MTG, built a very similar deck but had a few questions to try to help me get better at deck building.
Why use vines over titans strength in the main board? Shouldn't it be in the sideboard for playing against fliers?
And why not more Arlinn? Just asking this because the usual gruul deck around here runs 3 so I wanted to know your thought process.
Excellent deck btw. Fun stuff to play.

I have vines over Titan because with vines you can untap all your creatures if you target Zada with it. It's a way to deal with unexpected fliers, but more importantly to be able to swing with everything and then clear your opponent's board state by using all the creatures you just attacked with as defenders. I only have one in there, not four. Plus I'm happy with my current cards like Might of the Masses to get me damage to pump out.
I don't have more Arlin because he doesn't win me the game, he just rubs it in.

I got on Tapped Out with the thought "I want to find a fun way to play Werewolves in Standard." I play more Modern but like to dip my toes in Standard a little bit without spending too much money. I found the answer to my search in your deck. I am going to play something very similar but start out a little more budget friendly and play without Arlinn Kord Flip and without Westvale Abbey Flip in the sideboard for now. Thanks!

Kizmetto Scourge Wolf was the surprise MVP when I tried out this deck today against Black White tokens...the opponent was targeting Scourge Wolf with removal over Silverfur Partisan due to the first strike stalling his early game so bad (lol).
I lost the first game (mana screw) but won the next two. Third game was won turn 5 with 20 Wolves in play- 16 swinging in for 490 trample damage- booyah
Props going out to Rasanck for breaking down the combos so intricately in the above description.
Imho this deck is kinda like Aggro/Control (if that makes sense). Don't worry about doing a couple of points damage here and there early on if it means risking a wolf- and take damage instead of chump blocking, you need every Wolf you can get mid to late game.

I had opened silferfur as my promo, and as soon as I saw it I realized the Zada combo. This is probably better than the version I would have made though. Good Job :) +1

meddler91 please please please check out the deck Wolves Who Bench Eldrazi: Budget Version that I made specifically for people who want to play this deck but don't want to spend a lot of money. The deck total is $20.16 which i hope is a sign it will rock in 2016.

threw this together and tested it last night, all together went 5-3!
used 2 Arlinn Kord 2 Westvale Abbey uses Vines of the Recluse instead of Expedite (mostly Angels in our meta) and used Village Messenger instead of Scourge Wolf +1 from me!

I really don't care if I can make over a hundred wolves turn 5.
Good
The only ones I could see myself replacing would be village messager and scourge wolf, and that would be to substitute in some shielding for my deck.
