You cant combo Silverfur Partisanand Zada, Hedron Grinder...http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=402100
Copy of th spell do not cast spell, you juste crateur a pool of effect that you throw on your cratures... Ruling seems clear concerning ability trigger

"Whenever a Wolf or Werewolf you control becomes the target of an instant or sorcery spell, put a 2/2 green Wolf creature token onto the battlefield." That says nothing about having to "cast" the spell. You "cast" the spell targeting Zada, Hedron Grinder. Her ability copies it to a werewolf, triggering Silverfur Partisan to create more wolves.

Hey man great deck i am currently building it at the moment, I am on a mission to splash white in it :) Definitely like survive the night, what do you think about centre soul cause ive got a feeling that protection could help this deck go even further, especially rebound protection
April 16, 2016 6:19 a.m.
Bloodveld :5 The copies that the ability creates are created on the stack, so theyre not cast. Abilities that trigger when a player casts a spell (like Zadas ability itself) wont trigger.
Thats the reason im bugged
April 16, 2016 8:21 a.m.
Alundo Zada's ability is triggered when spells (you control) are CAST. Silverfur's Ability triggers when spells TARGET, (HINT: CAST, PLAYED, DOESNT MATTER). You don't have to C A S T a spell for it to Target. Silverfur's ability triggers off of Zada's ability.
April 16, 2016 12:06 p.m.
Also with Zada you originally CAST the spell targeting Zada, which triggers his ability, putting all the copies on the stack. So that shouldn't be your problem. d:

I built and tried this deck out on MTGO, as of right now, the spells copied by Zada don't trigger Silverfur Partisan's ability.
April 17, 2016 1:18 a.m.
You have to select new creatures for the copies, if you don't it won't trigger
April 17, 2016 10:31 a.m.
npdefeo Zada's ability forces you to make a copy for the number of other creatures you control at the time of the trigger and to assign one spell per creature, so esentially it's doing it for you. : P

Why don't you use Cinder Glade btw ? it's still a forest or a mountain for Game Trail. You could put like two cinder glade instead of 1 mountain and 1 forest
April 17, 2016 11 a.m.
@Rasanck, incorrect, MTGO has you select the creatures to target with copies, then it creates that many copies.
April 17, 2016 11:52 a.m.
npdefeo thank you for telling me that, I'm still new to the mtgo interface and assumed it would auto-trigger them. cheers!

Also with Epic Confrontation you can clear enemy creatures

npdefeo I apologize, I thought you were talking about face to face Mtg. lol. The parameters are so strict that you really only need to decide what is resolving in what order in real life. XD

Maybe replace a forest and a mountain for 2 Cinder Glade? also the 2 Lambholt Pacifist Flip with 2 Kessig Forgemaster Flip for potential to attack
April 18, 2016 2:49 p.m.
Snow586 I wouldn't replace anything with Cinder Glade except Maybe a Game Trail. I'm not going to get into tons of specialized lands that are dependent on basic lands (which includes Cinder Glade). I like Kessig Forgemaster but it's also more susceptible to trading and removal.
trogdor101 Swell of Growth implies you have lands in hand. A deck with an average CMC of 2 doesn't need ramp. Swell of Growth becomes viable after i've played an expedite and have Zada, Silverfur, and tokens on the field. Before I dump Zada, I want to be dumping creatures, not ramping which means i'm not playing creatures. Village Messenger Flip is too weak and while deck:Zurgo Bellstriker is a good card, it's not a wolf and doesn't feed off of the mechanic which is the whole point of the deck. No Sin Prodder because it's not a wolf or werewolf. No Titanic Growth on mainboard because consistency. No additional Arlinn Kord Flip because of consistency and Arlinn is icing on the top, not the game winner. No Breakneck Rider Flip because it's a terrible card, Ulrich's Kindred has an ability that costs too much, but I do really, really like Pack Guardian. I might sub back in Village Messenger Flip for one drops, but we'll see how I play out.

Hi, why no mention of Howlpack Resurgence? I know it doesn't trigger the combo but seems like a good general buff. Also if they kill it it fuels delirium...

Hey man, I'm running a Zadafur deck myself (RG Zadafur Werewolves - BUDGET (Below $50!)) and it's listed on the All Things Wolven forum. Here's my experience with the Zadafur theme on last week's FNM.
3 Rounds, best of 3 against the following decks:
1.) Red Wolves with Burn and Removals2.) BG Elves3.) BW Lifedrain Ally
A Mirror Match: Going against WolvesMy match went 1-2, in favor of the opponent. The first game went well, till he started burning off Zada. Silverfur was a great sideboard because he popped up tokens when spells were cast. The pump spells were great life-savers too. I dwindled my opponent's life down to 4 before he was saved by Chandra's Ignition...
The second match went in my favor as I curved out well. Had 2 Silverfurs and Zada out by turn 6, so you can imagine the token flood.
The third match was a repeat of the first match.
2nd round - BG ElvesWell, this one went 0-2 on my end. The elf bomb was way too much and curved too early for my wolves. Combat-wise, I had the enemy on his toes but Tajuru Warcaller and Shaman of the Pack were way too much to handle.
3rd round - BW Lifedrain AllyThis one was 1-2 in favor of the Allies.
I took the first round because I got my creatures early. Again, Silverfur and Zada took control because there were no removals.
The second and third round went to my opponent. He was able to get his core cards and simply withered me away. The flying creatures were also a problem as I did not draw out Vines of Recluse.
I ended up in 6th place. I won one booster and bought two more. The prize booster contained Arlinn Kord Flip so I just added her to the deck.
My thoughts:
Game Trail is not enough to run even on a budget. I feel that Cinder Glade is needed but it's going to drive the price of the deck to more than $50. But the upgrade is worth the money I guess.
My thoughts on the Kessig Forgemaster Flip Hinterland Logger Flip and Scourge Wolf as two drops:Kessig has oomph but I feel scourge and the first strike make him a decent threat for a 2-drop. I replaced my Timberpack Wolf for Scourge Wolf and I will let you know how things go.
Hinterland is quite a stretch but she becomes quite a handful at 4/4 trample, so I will be adding her in lieu of Kessig Forgemaster...
I am also thinking of adding removal spells like Fiery Impulse because I feel that a little board control goes a long way but have not decided on which card to take out.
Confront the Unknown is a great card for the Investigate function and the buff function secondary. My friend, who ran the Red Wolves, agreed with me when it came to the wolves' draw cards. Expedite and Confront are decent draw cards and I added one more copy in.
Vines of the Recluse is a life-saver and is better saved when Silverfur is out.
I hope this feedback helps everyone...

Sartori This deck has been floating around in my brain since 3/19 when Silverfur Partisans was first spoiled. For that long it's been edited, re edited, balanced, and messed around with. Howlpack Resurgence is a great card and i'll get around to it, just not now! XD

I have been play testing this deck a lot, and I just find Scourge Wolf to always come up lacking. There isn't really enough cards in the deck to trigger delirium consistently.
I swapped -4 Scourge Wolf for 4 x Duskwatch Recruiter Flip and the deck has been flowing much better. It is still a 2/2 for 2 and the flip is amazing, especially if you have 2. It makes playing your Silverfur Partisan + Zada, Hedron Grinder combos that much easier. In dire situations, you can also use the Duskwatch Recruiter Flip to fish for your combo.
Just my 2c.
