By the time an opponent hits turn 5 and starts firing off Fork effects with Goggles - the Wolves will have already smashed them already for 10 damage or so and the game is nearly over...

how does zada work? I see that it copies the sorcery or instant that targets it and you get to repeat it on your other creatures.
Does it copy for all of your creatures? or a type of creature? ex. either a wolf or a werewolf

nm i got the answer.
whats the point of having rabit bite when you can just run an additional moonlight hunt? its an instant rather than a sorcery and technically would probably end up doing more damage for the same cost anyways
May 9, 2016 2:59 a.m.
HybridAJT the point is having one spell that allows Zada to do damage to a creature, and it's also a sorcery so it can give Scourge Wolf Delirium.
May 9, 2016 8:24 a.m.
HybridAJT It wouldn't trigger silverfur because a wolf or werewolf you own wasn't being targeted, only the enemy creature was. With Rabid Bite, a wolf or werewolf you control could most definitely be targeted.

Rasanck would you consider this deck as a midrange type? if i want to make it into an agro type what cards would i change?
Assuming i would play midrange thoughts on Lambholt Pacifist Flip replacing Timberpack Wolf?

Have you ever considered putting Surrak, the Hunt Caller in here . Being able to get the wolves to 8 power in total is so easy so then you can attack as soon as you summon them. Which can help finish them even faster. And it's a 5/4 for 4 mana

Sorry for double posting but I tried this deck out at FNM a few weeks and I can't seem to get any of the guys out because most of the people there plays mono white humans, esper control, or just a big removal type decks is there like any way to get around the control cards like Declaration in Stone and Languish but still use the same idea

Koreno sorry to hear your luck. I was able to get 2nd place with this deck and sideboard, only losing to bant company. I didn't draw my removal spells I side boarded in for lmao. There's enough variable creatures that declaration in stone shouldn't slow you down too much, it should only really hurt the 2/2 wolf tokens and nab a Zada or two. Make sure you pick up the sideboard because it really does help with destroying your enemies. Mono white humans hate Kozilek's return and Howlpack Resurgence buffs your creatures so they aren't phased by it. Howlpack Resurgence helps against Languish as well.
There are other cards on the sideboard that help control the decks you're talking about, but seriously get the sideboard and use it and you should find a lot more favor in your matches. R/G control is gr8.

Great deck! Seems like it works great, so far! Just one question, though. Do you have a recommended list of cards to sideboard in if your opponent is playing a mono white humans deck? That seems to be the popular deck at my fnm store, and I'm having trouble beating it. They just get started too fast, before I can even get any board presence.

I tried this deck out, and my real problem is getting reliable card draw. Sometimes I'd end up getting dead draws and useless pump spells when I have only a Timberpack and a token out.
The concept is amazing, but the draw power wasn't there at the time, at least with Revision 8. I'm not sure how Revision 9 fixes that, since I only glanced at it, but I noticed Tormenting Voices, so that's at least good.

Aethyr revision 9 has 8 draw spells as well as 4 evolving wilds which lessens the cards in your deck. I did very well in drawings cards this FNM
May 14, 2016 10:46 p.m.
Oh yeah, that sounds a lot more pleasing. Really got annoyed with having to draw useless pumps and/or countless lands. Good to know.
May 14, 2016 11:28 p.m.
I noticed that in Revision 9, there are a total of 5 Timberpack Wolves.
Surely this is a mistake, correct?

Aethyr okay you were talking about on the update list xd yeah. That was a mistake, I corrected it, Thanks :P

@rasanck is there a certain way to side with this deck?
May 16, 2016 12:09 p.m.
If you think about it imagine having 5 wolves tokens turns to 10 and having out like 4 clue tokens it would bump to 8 it would jump start the momentum

Second harvest is too expensive at this time to run against anything. If I turn three had a silverfur partisan, turn four had a zada, then turn 5 I can drop a whole bunch of wolf tokens by targeting Zada with spells. Not only do I get the tokens, I also get the buffs and card draws and whatever else from doing it that way. I've had a situation where I had three Silverfur partisans and with four mana I turned 7 wolves into 8,445 wolves and dealt 84,547 damage to that person on that same turn. Not bad, eh?

Has Scourge Wolf ever had Delerium? Seeings how you would only get an instant, creature and possibly land in the yard?

Wouldn't Naturalize be better than Natural State in the sideboard since State can't hit Goggles (among other things)?
