wow..that's a pretty good deck you have there..

This is very nice, but I think the icing on the cake here is going to be Lazav, Dimir Mastermind I'd maybe swap out Duskmantle Guildmage and another misc. dude for Lazav. Duskmantle Guildmage is a very fine card for casual ply, but much too inefficient to get you further in your average game at FNM standard. Lazav, Dimir Mastermind has evasion, and will most times become some of the scariest creatures in your opponents deck. He can become Thassa, God of the Sea , Nylea, God of the Hunt , Desecration Demon , or even an Aurelia, the Warleader , WHATEVER YOU MAKE THEM MILL!!! And the best part is you don't have to transform him when they mill like an Elvish Mystic or something else crappy that you don't want that game. He only costs like $2 so you can probably pick up a couple copies at the comic shop or where ever you play FNM. Also maybe a few Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker would go nice in this, maybe fill up the remaining sideboard slots with him. I hope this is helpful :)

Thanks for the tips. I do have 1 Mirko Vosk Coming in the mail. So I will have atleast 1 of him soon. Will definitely track down some lazav too! Very helpful.

You'll probably want 3 or 4 copies of Consuming Aberration as he is a win-con by himself. You'll also want Rogue's Passage in the deck to allow him to become unblockable.

Looking Good pal. if were you I might get a couple of flying defenders or another chump flying blocker like Balustrade Spy , seeing as born of gods comes out soon I'd be tempted to trade out Thassa, God of the Sea for Phenax, God of Deception other than you got a great deck.

Thanks I have been planning on adding 2 rogue's passage for that very reason.

My plans for the deck so far would be to remove Death's Approach, Balustrade spy, Nighthowler, Duskmatle Guildmage and Returned Centaur.

Replacements for them cards will be. +1 Nightveil Spectre, +1 Consumming Aberration, 2x mirko vosk and 1x Lazav

Hey man, Jak here - glad to see you like the site. It's very useful in deck building.

Cards I think probably aren't that great:

Returned Centaur - He might prove a bit better once Phenax hits in BotG but as is he's a bit meh.

Traumatize - this card just cost way too much to cast.

Mind Grind - against mono red it destroys, most the time it's a mana sink. (brilliant in a multiplayer game though)

Iffy:

Nighthowler - I feel this guy will be awesome with Phenax, until then I'm not sure.

Paranoid Delusions - With a couple Thassa it may prove pretty decent, plus if you are running a few fliers it may actual do some work.

Cyclonic Rift - generally I love this card but as a 1 of, I'm not sure.

Psychic Spiral - Personally I'd just rather another Abberation or a Mirko Vosk

Suggestions:

Get another Pilfered Plans , it gives you card draw and mills. This card is Divination on crack.

Grisly Spectacle is a great card, It mills and kills a creature. Especially great against Scavenging Ooze since they'll probably have fun eating all those cards you're milling, Smash it for a tonne of extra mill and watch them cry.Also pretty good in general.

Personally I like cards that mill on top of doing something else so that they're effecting the game state.

Not a bad start. I like seeing mill get some love since I run it myself with some success. I'm not sure what your budget is but I feel free to take ideas from the deck I run Aberrations go bump in the night. It's a bit more creature based especially with phenax anticipation but it might help.

Might I suggest Omenspeaker ? It is an awesome card for advantage knowing what you will draw and it is a solid body. Also from experience I found myself scrying nighthowler to the bottom, he isn't bad but the reliance of creatures in the graveyard I found hurt for an odd reason.

Thanks Jak.Thats definately given me a few things to consider. I just recieved my first Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker put him in the deck and Returned Centaur is now removed.Psychic Spiral will be going into the sideboard along with another copy of it for Mill vs Mill games.I may Replace the 2x Mind Grind with 2x Grisly Spectacle .I will probably hunt down some singles tomorrow . Il update as I get them.
