Worldslayer Elves

Standard*

Minister

I cannot BELIEVE I haven't thought of this before.

Worldslayer is a horrible card, I know. Your opponent loses everything, but so do you. It's a shame you don't have anything in magic that could produce mana, recover from being destroyed and can attack. Like what else would you need, right?

Right?

Inspired by dorminjake's awesome deck, Broken Branches, this deck is meant to abuse your regenerating, mana-producing elves.

The key here Ezuri, Renegade Leader. When he's in play, along with a few Elvish Archdruids, you are set to go. Obviously you have Llanowar Elves to help as well but what else is interesting is the back up.

Copperhorn Scout allows you to attack with you manadorks and then use them to regenerate if need be(which, if you use Wordslayer, you'll need it).

Thrun, the Last Troll can keep his own, so why not?

Predator Ooze - When The world is gone, there is only ooze left.

Bellowing Tanglewurm - Okay, now it looks like I'm straight up copying dorminjake's deck, and I swear I'm not trying to. Bellowing Tanglewurm gives my elves the ability to swing with a Worldslayer. For that, I Thank him. And upped him an extra slot.

Viridian Emissary - He's an elf, too! And he's good for us, before and after worldslaying.

And now, the slinging of spells.

Green Sun's Zenith - perfect when the majority of your creatures are green.

Genesis Wave - I don't know why this isn't being played more in standard. With Elves, I'm getting alot of mana, so why not use it to get more elves into play? Also, helps me get the Worldslayer in.

Aaaand that it, right?

Right?

THE RED

hahaha! You thought you were done reading! Well, I decided to throw in a second color, but only slightly.

Red is actually my least favorite color in Magic, solely because the playstyle doesn't quite fit me. What I can get out of red, however, can work to y advantage.

Red Sun's Zenith is a totally playable card in this deck, which is all about getting lots of mana and abusing it.

Kessig Wolf Run - No, this isn't meant to be a wolf run deck, don't go there. KWR can do so much for us, however. Why not put it in there?

Brimstone Volley - Another one that's way too good to pass up. I can hit morbid easily with this deck, so five damage for three is a no brainer.

Obviously Red isn't my main win-con, but it sure helps.

Alright, I think I've almost said enough.

TLD;R, winc cons are:

Lots of Elves.Worldslayer with a backup plan.fireballing with Kessig Wolf Run or Red Sun's Zenith
