The point of this deck is to loot and ping until you can get Spellweaver Helix + Worldfire . When you cast a ping spell, Spellweaver Helix casts Worldfire. Worldfire resolves and puts each player at 1. Then the ping spell resolves, winning you the game.

This deck is great for several reasons:

-It runs no creatures. Terminate, Dismember, and similar spells are useless.

-It only has Mountains. Cheap and reliable. It's especially fun when your opponent has a Ghost Quarter.

-Nearly all the cards are common-rarity. So the deck's dirt-cheap.

-It has the element of surprise. Nobody ever Thoughtseizes our Helix.

Conjurer's Bauble protects against Surgical Extraction, Guttural Response protects against countermagic, Buried Ruin fights mill, artifact removal, and discard, and Vandalblast protects against Relic of Progenitus and other artifacts. I don't mainboard Buried Ruin because this deck requires boatloads of red mana.

Cards in the Maybeboard are non-budget options.
