Yosei, the Morning Star in here would be a BITCH. Blind Obedience , Feeling of Dread as well. And don't forget Conjurer's Closet

Yosei only triggers if he hits the graveyard.. Wouldn't work all that well here

Still, get him to die, Cloudshift Sunblast Angel and kill 5 things in response with 1 mana. Seems good to me

Indeed. Im not doubting the quality of the card.
But a yosei would be the sixth 6-drop in the deck and requires another 6-drop to live up to his full potential.

Those are great ideas but what exactly should I take out for those?

pudgeep has it right. Venser is the same amount of mana as Conjurer's Closet , is in your colors, and can function as an additional win condition for the deck either by making your Sunblast Angel s unblockable, or by using his ultimate and exiling trublesome permanents that maybe the angel can't reach. I see no reason, in a deck focused around creature destruction and flicker, why you should play closet over venser.

It makes sense, you're right. The only reason is that Conjurer's Closet is easier to protect. I'll change it though.

You should look at my American Superfriends... one of the reason's I prefer planeswalkers is 1) they are living toolboxes 2) the are distractions: you're opponent will be too busy dealing with them to go after you, and then you'll sunblast angel all over their faces and it won't matter anymore anyway. Especially in a deck with so much mass creature removal, nothing short of burn is going to kick your Venser, the Sojourner off the field and 3) he offers you a scary new win condition, which is always helpful in a deck based around only one (which is kill and then punch with your angel). This is an awesome build though. I like it a lot.

And I don't think this deck needs, or really warrants tamiyo. She's a wonderful planeswalker and my personal favorite I love using her to make a single Lightning Bolt in hand a win condition, but your deck is more about flickered creatures than spells. I think she's better in a deck where the spells can be the win-con.

Sleep is a sorcery, so it wouldn't work, but I'll think about Elite Arcanist
July 24, 2013 8:49 a.m.
oh to replace Sleep in my previous comment Frost Breath and Elite Arcanist may be something to consider
July 24, 2013 4:35 p.m.
I ran Sleep , Wall of Frost , etc. Blinking is a good idea with Sunblast as long as you can make sure your opponent has everything tapped and you don't. Lots of enchantments freeze opponents creatures, so maybe some Bonds of Quicksilver , Paralyzing Grasp , Claustrophobia and the like. Frost Breath works for those pests summoned after a sleep was cast.I would probably slowly phase out the Azorius Detain cards for the freeze cards. They work together well, to a point, but it tends to detract in the late game in my experience. All in all, a good first draft. +1 from me. cant wait to see where it goes

Good point . . . that'd probably be a pretty weird game.

Blustersquall will tap out your opponent. just play it at the end of their turn before you want to play the angel.
CalciferDK says... #1
I would use Blustersquall instead of Sleep its a bit more flexible and is harder to play around for the opponent.
also have you thought about Cloudshift ?
is it just one Snapcaster Mage you need room for? if so i would substitute a land. 26 should be enough for a control deck.
